Okay, Mondays usually are devoted to the review of the latest episode of HBO's True Blood, yet I have not got the chance to see the episode, whereas I have to postpone the review till tomorrow. (Sadly). Yet I can give you an adequate topic of interest.</h3>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
As I have not reported on the latest trends in fashion etc. for a while its remed quite appropriate to give you all my thoughts on the designs of Marina Hoermanseder that were presented at this years Mercedes Benz fashion Week in Berlin. The label of Ms. Hoermanseder might not be a big name, however her designs shoe true talent incorporating absurdism and a certain historicism without loosing their wearability and futuristic appeal. A rare combination in the fashion industry and hard to keep up, as the juxtaposition between style extremes never was and never will be easy. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The collection clearly has found its influences in the idea of restraint and support of the body as well as the ideas of wearability versus artistic influences in fashion. Especially the detail of such a soft and intricate use of a material such a hard material as leather stuns the spectator while the grant for wearability is (nearly) always given. Yet the choice of color could have been different, yet the overall use of pastel tones and skin related colors gives credit to the connection between organic seeming shapes and restraining corsets. The whole connection was a huge reminder of orthopedic medicine as much as it was couture. The intricate split between cold medic, frightening alien, flawlessly beautiful and delicately feminine has been perfectly managed. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I as drawn into a fantasy land by the collection as the clothes reminded one of leather culture and SM culture, as well as the symbolic eating behind the material used. Leather, a durable and rough material, is of preconceived notion rather male. However the working of the material and its use in the collection connects ideas of masculinity and femininity in fashion and deconstructs these notions.</div>

Damn! I sure had a “fangover” form last sundays episode of “True Blood”. And it is not solely reasoned in the good parts of the episodes. But lets just focus and get this “Death Is Not The End” episode its deserved review. </h3>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6eLY57I77b1G_x0lYpEwiL5RkHTSY4B4HzxvKp6lgKyqJH6FFSWltp7U0NlnEqNcdX_Ngd7b_4hawqpJq5yLCddZPlIMrNW0aj28ZUlaeF7l3c2cOmlXaTKMN7H3zmg3U-eHiXHbq81g/s1600/800px-True_Blood_2008_logo.svg.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6eLY57I77b1G_x0lYpEwiL5RkHTSY4B4HzxvKp6lgKyqJH6FFSWltp7U0NlnEqNcdX_Ngd7b_4hawqpJq5yLCddZPlIMrNW0aj28ZUlaeF7l3c2cOmlXaTKMN7H3zmg3U-eHiXHbq81g/s1600/800px-True_Blood_2008_logo.svg.png" height="170" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The episode starts off with a scene of Sookie calling her death lovers father, and he seems to be quite shocked that his Alcide is dead. Yet, he ensures Sookie that he loved her to bits and pieces. And Sookie stays strong. No crying, nothing. She seems emotionally dead. After what she has been going trough, no surprise. Biggest Moment of the episode however is Jason calling Hoyt in Alaska to tell him that his mom got killed by a vampire. Such sweet memories, however good to know that the makers of True Blood made the effort to put this thing into the script. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
After the opening sequence we see Eric and am on a private jet and when Eric decides they have to go to Shrieveport we get tons of great and nicely 80’s style flashbacks of how Eric and Pam got to have “Fangtasia”. I love me some flashbacks like that!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
And then Sokkie gets all boring. She talks to Colby and her brother, and Jason goes and tells Kevins wife he is dead. Wasted minutes! Meanwhile Sookie helps Holly remember where she was caught, and Jason has to force Sam to stop to get t Fangtasia without vampires. Oh and Jessica has an eating disorder.. which gets solved by Sookie the very moment it comes up. Well, interesting concept, however soved to soon. The guilt trip has not really worked out. And Sookie tells Jessica, while feeding her, that she is dead already and yet again needs them all to save her friends.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Then we finally get to the real thing again: flashbacks of Eric and Pam! Wellbetter said how Ginger applied at their video store and was totally in love with Eric from the first sight. We also get to see that “Fangtasia” was only Gingers idea, and Pam glamoured the shit out of her to take the ide as hers. Loving it! Cause living for it!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Then there is the big reunion between Pam, Eric and Sookie with Pam still hating Sookie, and Willa being called by Eric and she is pissed. Very pissed! Yet in the end they all go and rescue the peeps from Fangtasia and kill all the Hep-V’s. However Arlene nearly dies, Pam uses a fire extinguisher to save the bar, and the mob idiots get killed in the attack as well. Lots of blood, gore and guts. Loving it. And yet we see that Eric has become slow and a bit weak. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The episode in summary was a lot like: OH my god that is great and Mah! A solid 7,5 out of 10 with a big concern for the end of the season as more episodes remain and there seems to be no main plot in sight. Ye the show could return to its core with focusing on the relationship between people. However Gingers explanation of vampire movies as a possibility to examine the other in human society give a nice hint at the academic possibilities of the series. </div>

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiF3_lO6pwI6sJfLiOcRUDfA4STGEtlE7Hb9Xs-sNLSRzTyTvQxqh3dEznM157bhNpMFKymdaLQaBOfj_Dys6o9Nb5QMNuFt7s1cEDbSy0Vesp7wJyCLdRtWtqiZB4bnrUhIJyfJ_R4Uyg/s1600/1000481_10151693125053563_1496769654_n.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiF3_lO6pwI6sJfLiOcRUDfA4STGEtlE7Hb9Xs-sNLSRzTyTvQxqh3dEznM157bhNpMFKymdaLQaBOfj_Dys6o9Nb5QMNuFt7s1cEDbSy0Vesp7wJyCLdRtWtqiZB4bnrUhIJyfJ_R4Uyg/s1600/1000481_10151693125053563_1496769654_n.jpg" height="320" width="320" /></a>Okay I have to admit I am so behind on Game of Thrones as just possible with barely season one watched, yet I am accustomed with the tins of deaths to come. And True Blood has proven if not ne thing with season sevens episode “Fire In The Hole”: that is that no one lives forever, especially not in True Blood. </h3>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Don’t get me wrong, I do enjoy good kill offs, and the latest goodbyes kind of seemed eminent. But wasn’t Game of Thrones that series that killed off your favourite characters, and True Blood that made killing a semi main character a main event? Seems as season seven changed the game in Bon temps and made the town the true blood bath it was made out to be from the shows title. So before we get into this episode lets just make a death count, cause I feel that the numbering here seems appropriate. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
In episode one we had about 25 humans taken by the Hep-V vamps and at least 10 vampires killed protecting the humans. Lets not take these into account and only try to make main characters the thing important. But then again we have our darling Tara meeting true death. And in this episode we got plenty of deaths. I mean characters that at least appeared more then once. First we have the gay vampire with Sam getting shot, you know, the one who glamoured Terry by the wish of Arlene? Then we got Mrs. Fortenberry killed by Olivia (Thank god we got rid of that nasty twat!), and finally our good Alcide. Oh and then there is that yoga teacher of this cunt Newlin. But he’s not count worthy, as well as Eric’s French, what was her name, girl. Makes a death count of 4 in 3 episodes. Not bad True Blood, not bad!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Yet the episode begins with Sarah Newlin in a yoga class, now with brown hair. Damn that women has more returns then Cher! First thoughts: Die bitch, die! Afterwars we finally get some more Eric and Pam. And Eric, I get the feeling, has kind of given up on life. He remins Pam that the world has been his oyster for a millennia now (Yeah Eric, you really are True Blood’s pearl. Cue the fapping of the gays and ladies!) and that he kind of is sick of looing everyone he knows, including that French girl. Yet he has always saved and taken care of Pam. And FINALLY she gives a notch to Tara meeting true death. Or in her words: “Tara met the true death. I felt it last night when I was in Marocco. She was my progeny Eric, you’re not gonna say anything?” This is kind of the most emotional we have seen from Pam over the whole course of the series. Oh, by the way: Pam hates the Russian people. (Yay to the writers and that Pam against the Russian LGBT haters thing!). Its hard to think of Eric as giving up. Well I guess he is more broken inside then he’d ever would want to admit. However, the scene as whole: I’m so counting this in my top 5 moments of True Blood list. Lets say at number 3.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
On the other side we got Sookie having that crazy plan with Bill to play meal for the Hep-V’s to find the others kidnapped. And then there is that “Sookie I am sorry” thing, blah blah. Obvious, annoying yet necessary. Light if this car ride: Sookie telling Bill while sucking his blood: I have a boyfriend. Meanwhile Adalaine and that cute boys are freed form the jail cell by Andy and Jessica, they go get Jason. And Olivia is pissed at Jessica for having had sex with Jason. Jason meanwhile gets soft and wants a child with Olivia, she tells him to man up and bet the warrior with moral code that he was when they first meet. Meanwhile Sam gets stopped by the town folks who armed up and they announce he no longer is mayor. They shoot the vampire that protects him. And Sam escapes as an owl. In the meantime Letti Mae is high on V, and the reverend gives this speech about how Latti Mae and he saved each other. However withdraws Willa’s invitation from the house, but feeding her before and thanking her, sincerely for everything. Oh on another note: Jessica’s cute boyfriend James has a serious crush on Lafayette. They go on a trip together, James admits that him and Jessica is not the picture perfect after all. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
When Sookie sits in the grass as the meal for the vamps, watched by Bill, they have this talk about their past and about their relation. The whole thing is probably best summarized with Bill’ “Love aint always equal, Sookie!”. Wow. Boooring. Yet, I don’t know. Good set up however to show that Sookie is deeper emotionally then a ketchup bottle. When later Jessica, Olivia, Andy and Jason meet the mob, Mrs Fortenberry wants to kill Jason and Jessica for driving Hoyt away. Well think is Fortonberry shoos Jessica in the shoulder and she barley heals. And, god love her, Olivia rips the bitches heart out and gets Holly’s second boy. And why the heck aint Jessica healing? Hep-V’s decide to take Holly to go out and find more peeps to feed on. Yet I get the feeling that they are deeper then they appear. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Oh and then we get some more Eric, who seems to be motivated by Pam revealing to him that the Newlin bitch is still alive. And thank god he gets up. Yet I kind of don’t understand that he is motivated so fast, after his I’ve had it with life.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
When Holly stumbles through the woods, Alcide, Sam and Jason, Olivia, Jessica and Andy come to rescue them. They kill the Hep-V’s. Yet Alcide gets shot by the vigilantes from Bon Temp’s. And well Alcide is dead now. However the others shot back and killed the attackers. It sure aint the same no more if you pull the trigger. That much Andy is right. And Sookie does not want Alcide to be turned as she had that before. Sometimes a loss is supposed to be a loss and not a second chance. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So all together, we may say that this episode opened up season sevens death season, and somehow ended the Hep-V crisis. Yet the hunt for Newlin is up, grieving is eminent, Eric is coming back and hopefully they find a big big fat bang to go out with, because seven episodfes of just talking won’t be a proper send off. Yet the show will for sure give more. In summary: A good, yet probably fan disappointing through character death episode.</div>

Okay ladies, gentlemen and everything in between. This look, as the title already gives away, aims at a really cold, strong and darkly fierce attitude with lots of sassy power. This is not "sissying" a walk, this is dominating the runway! The make up in general started out with foundation and lots and lots of clown white. After I mixed these two in and given Anna's face cold look I added some bronzer to give depth to her face, however just a little bit. Then the actual make-up part took place.</div>

I started out shaping the triangle part around the eyes and filling in the lid black. After this way done I took to newspaper and cut some triangular pieces out. I then glued them into the before shaped triangles on Anna's forehead. After that I filled in the triangles with black and let it dry. Afterwards I added blue glitter to the eye make up and completed the eyes with under eye lines. Annas lips were filled with a mixture of lip tar and blue glitter and finally adding some of the glitter to highlight Anna's check bones. The hair was simply combed back and was whitened by using white powder and white hair color.</div>

Afterwards I slapped lots and lots of silver necklaces onto Anna's neck and we took to the garden to take these amazing pictures. I had lots of fun working with Anna on the make up and Gil had lots of fun to work with Anna in front of the camera. And the results speak for themselves.</div>

Hey Gender Blenders out there! Todays issue of "Transformations" has one motto: me, Dita Whip! I took my lovely volunteer Katie and turned her into a version of me! </h3>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfaxtp92ETeWRaLSNzJK8kNrJAhKL0c_T5SdJj06elraNc_47-nd87PxZQD6lFHysPTN9x0JbQfdOBnxNO_uSlz5nQH7teiie4-QvKVbG0L859S3azkcAZMjejhwQPfWwx_GBkzo6diFQ/s1600/Katie+Release-003.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfaxtp92ETeWRaLSNzJK8kNrJAhKL0c_T5SdJj06elraNc_47-nd87PxZQD6lFHysPTN9x0JbQfdOBnxNO_uSlz5nQH7teiie4-QvKVbG0L859S3azkcAZMjejhwQPfWwx_GBkzo6diFQ/s1600/Katie+Release-003.jpg" height="402" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
As I already said, I went all me on Katie's face, and in accordance to this she had to go trough full layers of foundation, clown white, powder, bronzer, more powder and anything I need to make my mug as pretty as photoshop would. And that started off with flattening Katie's hair, which she did herself as she is pretty fast with her iron. After they I slapped on everything I had foundation wise painted on extreme eye make up with glitter and gold and then we tried wigs, a hat and different necklaces. It was so much fun, and the pictures that came out in the end show two things: (1) the resemblance with me is uncanny and (2) Katie is a beautiful and gorgeous girl with such a fantastic smile! </div>

Damn! Last nights episode of True Blood certainly has boiled the tempers of some viewers. And not only in a good way. Anyways, here is Icon Art Marilyn’s review of “I Found You”. If you haven't read last episodes review, do so <a href="http://iconartmarilyn.blogspot.de/2014/06/jesus-gonna-be-here-true-blood-season-7.html">here</a>.</h3>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEheCPqKQp2XrWy3ixtQFIDZSo8S1S-T-pzHY_DR3RvGIZcKGx4y7FxS0op2Qa6zB9MvEEilV2TRdsMxwFl1a4IYWts3uflBjdVo6v8vJqbU0F2KsbTAdSh6-CUInv7TVQ6rw1xzKipu4Oc/s1600/800px-True_Blood_2008_logo.svg.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEheCPqKQp2XrWy3ixtQFIDZSo8S1S-T-pzHY_DR3RvGIZcKGx4y7FxS0op2Qa6zB9MvEEilV2TRdsMxwFl1a4IYWts3uflBjdVo6v8vJqbU0F2KsbTAdSh6-CUInv7TVQ6rw1xzKipu4Oc/s1600/800px-True_Blood_2008_logo.svg.png" height="170" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
For starters, I don’t get people being angry at <a href="http://iconartmarilyn.blogspot.de/search/label/True%20Blood">True Blood</a> and its storyline. For me the show actually did not jump the cliff, just rather has fallen into its phase of maturing and finally in its saturation phase. All this talking about the show has lost its edge and really gone to big of a scale and too damn easy to look through is really just mourning for more Bill and “Soookie!”. And frankly spoken, I do rather prefer a stir the pot, kill characters off, apocalyptic study in what vamps on a rant would be then having character focused drama infused with a side note of vampirism. Sure the show has some flaws but believe me, it still is better then that “The Wire”. (Yes, I don’t like heat many people call HBO’s best show ever!) </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
But: back to the review. The episode was pretty intense as it opens with Jason having a sex dream about him and Eric. And boy that got pretty physical! You pretty much could hear the gay gasp around the world and the fapping is next to come. And by the way: shout out to these two straight gentlemen who played this scene so well. And not backed out like a bitch. I’m looking at you, former actor of Jessica’s boyfriend! Anyway, Jason wakes up after that church meeting, and then he Sookie, Alcide (Who, thank god, has more sentences then “I’m the pack master!”), Andy, Jason and Sam seek out that dead girl from last episode, check her ID and head to her town. And boy that town has been eated dra by these vamps. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Sideburn: That damn diary. I mean nice play on showing that Sookies love story is not the reason this all happened, but too cheesy! However, it shows the hopelessness of the situation these people are and were in. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Meanwhile in Fangtasia: One of the hep-V vamps turns out to be the former teacher of Arlene’s and Holly’s kids, the convince her to help them, however she dies of Hep-V the moment the rescue begins. (Bummer!) On another note the Bon temps folks slowly go mad and steal the weapons from the police station cause Sams former mayoral election competitor agitates them. Adelaine gets locked up, Jessica feels it and exposes herself to Andy to save her. (I think we are setting up a healing process here.)</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Bummer here: That goddamn victim racism allegation on Andy by a black woman to agitate Kenya. Damn gurrl that is weak and a low shot. Your self esteem went right out of the window, didn’t it?</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Yet on another note Tara can be seen by Letti Mae when she is high on V, and Tara is caught in a Jesus meets Adam and Eve thing story. Lemme see how that plays out!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Biggest bummer and best thing ever (kinda): Pam finds Eric in France (THANK GOD FOR PAM!), however he is infected with Hep-V. WHAT the hell? Hep-V and Eric? NO! Yet, totally understandable cause this Eric comes back and saves the day thing, no that would not have worked once more. Yet I am extremely pissed that Pam has not even shad one tear on Tara meeting the true death. Damn. Yet I am hooked as ever before. Come on next week! I wanna see my True Blood!</div>

It is time for another round of "Transformations" in cooperation with the fabulous <a href="http://facebook.com/ditawhip">Dita Whip</a>. Our lovely volunteer this time: Lisa.</h3>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Now it is time to hand over to Dita: The look I and Lisa were going for with this transformation in the first place was to make it an extravaganza of glitter. Really over the top and already Capitol like from the Hunger Games. Ridiculously fabulous you may say. However, when taking the pictures we reversed more and more towards poses that rather resembled old Hollywood glamour meets humor. And as we finally added a hat and pearls the decision was kind of made in the progress that this futuristic over the top look we were going for was not what came out.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3GAwPFinIXBXFel42klWYi1Xde9PVZT7vH5sJiF6bJkdYsC9Dxjth8e8Lr7W9ygKGzbm9bhpJGyAz3cr8nFM0Y29AvBgD4T3XCy0SbVOBpfC_H-ur3CuQYFaZuJE5y1qpSEdFzDNeXws/s1600/Lisa+Release.01+%232.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3GAwPFinIXBXFel42klWYi1Xde9PVZT7vH5sJiF6bJkdYsC9Dxjth8e8Lr7W9ygKGzbm9bhpJGyAz3cr8nFM0Y29AvBgD4T3XCy0SbVOBpfC_H-ur3CuQYFaZuJE5y1qpSEdFzDNeXws/s1600/Lisa+Release.01+%232.jpg" height="482" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhVQ_hYsQj2bmTSltsSJLBAdzNWSiUWexFBIy7-le3ORH1bekw_vAno0pobuppKLj9pCei_Qj3maVvfv8VXLvBTZcKkBYHZpOjNcynAh4ELKO76oLkpnAz1_6fkgOeWrNtHGqWphGP-9TA/s1600/Lisa+Release.14.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhVQ_hYsQj2bmTSltsSJLBAdzNWSiUWexFBIy7-le3ORH1bekw_vAno0pobuppKLj9pCei_Qj3maVvfv8VXLvBTZcKkBYHZpOjNcynAh4ELKO76oLkpnAz1_6fkgOeWrNtHGqWphGP-9TA/s1600/Lisa+Release.14.jpg" height="241" width="320" /></a>In the process I as well had my hard time to put the glitter on. It was one of the first times I worked with the material, however yet it is an integral part of my make up. But a big thanks to Lisa for enduring the procedure. Yet I am extremely happy with the outcome of the pictures. They might not be perfect, and the make up might not be as flawless as wished for, however it really shows what a beauty Lisa is, with and without make up.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjYTJrjmPtGgc0zJKAE_tPSJj0HzYuRK3kY4nnHA8shNI_-PkiUIVTi1AI5kOFKIIOKvfn1KG3p0WZpn9PTUCSoGo6SIqRZSxEPxGwmo-xJuvoePW1Krwe-eZwViYSfuqal86DSwLPTSV4/s1600/Lisa+Release.35+%25232.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjYTJrjmPtGgc0zJKAE_tPSJj0HzYuRK3kY4nnHA8shNI_-PkiUIVTi1AI5kOFKIIOKvfn1KG3p0WZpn9PTUCSoGo6SIqRZSxEPxGwmo-xJuvoePW1Krwe-eZwViYSfuqal86DSwLPTSV4/s1600/Lisa+Release.35+%25232.jpg" height="241" width="320" /></a>The picture have been taken in February, and since then I was really able to work on my craft, however the pictures remain amazing. Finally I asked Lisa to frame the experience in her own words. This is how she felt about the process: </div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i>The first minute, I saw my friend Lisa’s pictures as the one and only Sexcretary, I simply couldn’t believe my own eyes! This transformation (and of course all the other transformation Dita Whip created) was totally awesome and I instantly knew: I just had to become a part of it!</i></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i><br /></i></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i>So I literally begged Lisa to ask Dita, if she could also work her magic on me. And as you can see my begging was totally worth it! During my first night in Great Britain, she transformed me into a gorgeous glitter-amazon and made me feel like a real mermaid princess…. Even considering it being a hard way to go before I finally became this awesome new me - I never thought that I needed strong duct tape to keep away my own hair (argh…it really hurts when you take it off at the end!) as well as tones of hairspray to glue glitter on my face (memo to myself: never ever get hairspray in my eyes again) - as I’ve mentioned before: it was totally worth it! ;)</i></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i><br /></i></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i>Getting to the moment of the photoshoot, I thought for the first moment that a stranger is looking at me. But after a while this strange new person surprisingly became a new and exciting part of me and we started to perform like crazy!</i></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i><br /></i></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i>Finally, when Dita told me that my photoshoot has to come to an end, I really felt sad that I have to lose all my make-up and return to my old me?! But I still think that this gorgeous glitter mermaid princess and I will at some point in the future meet again... at least I hope so! And for now I’ve got all those incredible memories…</i></div>

<h3 style="text-align: justify;">
Lets be frankly honest: <i>Tropico</i> was one pretty much awesome, 30 minute long, metaphor for America, in the form of a film / Music video with super 8 optics. You know, the classical banning from paradise and redemption story. It felt like an end to the whole <i>Born To Die</i> thing. A worthy, and very over the top, typical Lana Del Rey, end. And<i> Ultraviolence, </i>as its follow up, opening her new creative endeavor,<i> </i>is kind of not what could have been expected from an artist of Lana's caliber. </h3>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Sure you will have noticed by now that this album review is not an album review per se. I have attempted quite a few times to write a review about her new album with a mixed feeling of trashing it, loving it, hating her, loving her and emulating her sadness. However I found it quite difficult to review the album song by song, as my whole expectations and feelings towards her and <i>Ultraviolence</i> felt more of like a need for an overall comment. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
When I had a closer look at <i>Tropico</i> a while ago I described her as " Hollywood back in the days, and not big blockbuster L.A." (To read the whole analysis of <i>Tropico</i> and why Lana Del Rey is the most American thing since Coke, <a href="http://iconartmarilyn.blogspot.de/2013/12/lana-del-rey-and-essence-tropico-and-to.html#more">click right here</a>!) And I stick with this for sure. However I start to doubt that Lana will ver be only one thing more then old Hollywood. And as well all know old Hollywood was practically doomed from the beginning. It was fake, for apart, alcoholic, drugged up, fake and depressed. The dream factory was woven from nightmarish strings. And I fear that Miss Del Rey is just that and nothing more. Kind of like a one trick pony.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
But before you turn on me lat me say that the album has no song that really is not a good song, however I feel that lana has turned darker, and yes that is hard to imagine. The songs sound more chilly, more depressed and somewhat replaceable between each other. She is not able to pick up where she left and bring her best like she did on<i> Summertime Sadness </i>e.g. This vibes she may be giving with this LP might be James Bond like, 70's and 60's inspired, less hip hop influenced and more Curt Cobain goes pop. However I don't see a real development there. I mean I don't expect her to go all Beyonce' or whatever on us, cause that is not her, however the development she made is, for my taste too marginal. The album bares no landmarks for me as you listen trough it and nothing sticks. Maybe this is reasoned within the topics she sings about. Cause sad to say they have not changed since <i>Born To Die: Paradise Edition.</i></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i><br /></i></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
On the other hand it seems good to know she stays true to herself and so indie. Yet again her absolutely no desire to be a pop princess thing and her low attitude now only translates into boring and to be honest, the album sometimes seems like recorded whilst still half asleep. Not to mentioned that some tracks remind me of these songs off her that are online and officially unreleased. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
And on another note, that I don't want to tickle too much, as I am not quite informed enough o speak eloquently, Lana's romanticization of death, her obsessions with club 27 and that "I don't think Feminism is an interesting concept." line don't shed her in such a good light. Okay I get it: club 27 and death re romantic topics and they are mystery covered all over, however there is a limit of overall sadness. And that feminism line. If its true or not, I don't know. However she is pretty stupid to say so, as her whole life is feminism influenced and basically funded. As without feminism she would be nowhere where she is now. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
In closure I can say that Lana's <i>Ultraviolence</i> still is a beautiful listen, yet a boring one in a sense. The facet of colors is not the biggest one and the variety of lyric topics is limited. Yet the whole thing is worth listening to. It is up to the listener what to make of it, but please Lana, don't be so stupid and deny feminism its interest or even its impact. Educate yourself goddammit! </div>

Famed photographer Alison Jackson has a special oeuvre that distinguishes her from the myriad of other photographers out there: she gives her spectators none other then the Queen of England on the throne aka. the toilet, reading a newspaper. You think it’s a fake? No it is not…</h3>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
… however the originality of this picture rather points out the originality of the idea. Not that there actually are pictures of the queen on the “throne” rerading all about the latest developments in the Middle East or gossip. Alison Jackson has specialized in creating staged pictures that would make every paparazzo’s heart bounce and gossip fanatics unconscious out of sheer happiness. She takes celebrity lookalikes and doppelgangers, dresses them, and a scene, up and then takes their picture. Kind of paparazzo, kind of not. In some way kind of artsy already.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
One could ask why this seems to be a real thing, and by real I mean a quite successful thing, but Alison Jackson provides the answer with her pictures. These photographs have an almost symbolical function as they show one thing very clear (With a little blur to give paparazzo effects.): The, in our society common, human desire to see the human, flawed, normal and vulnerable, behind the fame. What we want are not the glam shots from the magazine covers, the perfect images from their websites or the beautifully airbrushed promo pictures from an album campaign. We want nasty pictures, imperfect one and derpy ugly faces. It is our inner most desire for decay that makes us love such pictures as they rest our own desire. The desire to be unattainably perfect, poised, trim and waxed to the nines. They destroy the celebrity’s notion of perfection and give us just the material to gossip and allege. And a good rest of our vain and expensive strive for airbrushed perfection.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Jackson’s pictures give us access to parts of these celebrities, or royals, that remain untouchable for us “normal” people. These pictures represent the photographed equivalent of a celebrity’s humanity. If there is one thing we think about a gigantic piece of work, as a celebrity career, it sure is: What is all behind all of this and what effort has been put into it? And as the actual celebs would never be up for such pictures Jackson makes them up. However they do not mock or ridicule the celebrity impersonated, just give him or her more depth then their public identity has. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I guess what I am really to transgress over here is the simple fact that these pictures show our societies obsession with owning a piece of someone, even if this piece is just a mock photo. It triggers our inner voyeur and fulfils our wish to see exhibitionism all over. Even if no one really likes to admit to that fact. Yet, I cannot say that one of my many guilty pleasures wouldn’t be gossip magazines!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Make sure to pay Alison Jacksons website a visit<a href="http://www.alisonjackson.com/"> right here</a>, and go see her exhibition if it hits a town near you!</div>

Okay, give me a minute to start this review of season sevens first episode “Jesus Gonna Be Here”, because even after watching it like three times it still is kind of… well different. And I am not sure in what way different.</h3>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The episode starts off with a recap of season six and the after HBO’s logo black and whites in goes straight to Sookie in the middle of the Hep-V vamps attacking the mixer at Bellefleurs. And boy, these vampires are the shit! They hungry for blood, as they are gonna die anyway. And for real, who can blame them? They basically got screwed over by the government, so why not go savage? However Holly, Arlene and Sam’s girlfriend get kidnapped amongst others while Olivia give some hot staking action saving Jason. Yet the scene has a major bummer as True Blood makes decided to let Tara be killed in the fight for her mothers safety. What a damn bummer! Seriously? We have been waiting to see more of her. That is kind of sad to kill her off after just about 15 seconds on screen time of the season. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_hzhdMe7Q8TheT9qdZtD0HHluMg2Vt79cGwpgwtwnNa9wfjpB3zK0Jv23daQV7A0zeaTrhglT39_PHAsqcE_0sKvKCGdmfeX_zlKG5IAaU86fVXpJrASk3LxR5iJidsYcZcjItBJsxi8/s1600/true-blood-cast1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_hzhdMe7Q8TheT9qdZtD0HHluMg2Vt79cGwpgwtwnNa9wfjpB3zK0Jv23daQV7A0zeaTrhglT39_PHAsqcE_0sKvKCGdmfeX_zlKG5IAaU86fVXpJrASk3LxR5iJidsYcZcjItBJsxi8/s1600/true-blood-cast1.jpg" height="400" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Anyways, as the vampires retreat after a whistle (Why did they retreat?) everyone thinks one thing while hiding in Bellefleur’s Bar and Grill: Its all Sookies fault. She is a vampire whore who, would she have kept her legs shut, would have not caused all this. And Sookie, the fae she is, hears these thoughts. Even Alcide thinks its kinda crazy that Sookie likes vamps. All I can say to that: Ya’ll in Bon temps overreact. As if it was her fault alone! (I’m looking at you Bill, Governor Bourell, Sarah Newlin, Vampire Authority, Lillith etc.)</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
As the people of Bon Temps start to get home protected by their assigned Vamps, Jessica protects Andy’s remaining fae daughter Adaline from a Hep-V vamp all night long, Adaline drinks her blood and invites Jessica in. Possible friendship ahead? Yes. Meanwhile Sam is exposed as a changer to his former opponent in the mayoral election, Bill and Andy search trough an old Slaughterhouse to see if the Hep-V’s are nesting there. In a confrontation with Sam’s former opponent in the election Andy saves Bills life, however reminding him he only did so cause they need him, and he really has done unspeakable to him and his daughters. Good for you Bill, and Andy, well at least you did the right thing. Bon Temps Sheriff seems to have been elected right. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Meanwhile Jason and Olivia check out another possible nesting place, and once again are confronted with Sam’s former opponent. Tides get wobbly, Olivia gets cocky as fuck and Jason annoyed by her taking control all the time. On the way back home they fight, and Jason finally is allowed to fuck her. And his rant was apparently all she has been waiting for. Could this be a relationship that works out for once? I mean True Blood is not famous for happily ever after! </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Lafayette is brought home by Jessica’s vampire boyfriend James, they talk, smoke and the talks get quite intellectual. You know, about war, violence, peace, pity, loss and the feeling of it. Oh, there is mourning for Tara (?). Our beloved first bitch in charge , Pam, is seen in Morocco playing Russian roulette to get info about Eric’s where about. She looks broken and her monologue reveals her emotional crisis. I mean how else would one describe sentences as “You and my god can get together and have a circle jerk in a motel. Meanwhile ill be in hell having a threeway with the devil!” Seems like the woman has lost it all, as I don’t even see perfect eyeliner. I mean she even wore flawless make up in vamp camp last season. But thank god her swearing has not run down. (Lovely, aint she?) On another note: Tara’s mom goes nuts on vamp blood given to her by Willa to heal, as she sees Tara. Poor Letti-Mae (?). Willa now protects letti-Mae and the reverend, who offers her a place to stay, as she has no one left and does not feel she is up to go back to Fangtasia. (You know, with Taras stuff there and all!) She should have on the other hand, as that is where the Hep-V’s hold their abductees and nest. By the way: they kill them by their ability to scream. (And hello: that really s scary and savagely bestial if you give it a thought!). </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The episode ends by the morning after in church where Sookie can hear everyone’s thoughts that basically say: Get out of here you whore!” She then gives a “ I love you all, even though you hate me, I love Bon Temps etc talk”. Oh, by the way, she and Alcide made up. Good for her.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
All in all: the episode was what was to be expected: unexpected. It felt a little long and dragged out, just like season six first episode, with good and bad pieces. However we might not fear, at least I think so, as last season got better as well. However the major disappointment of no Eric and Tara no more lays pretty crude. But thinking about all of it: Willa is the one that totally get screwed over: She really has no one left. For next week: Lets hope True Blood comes back from the dead and not finalize jumping the shark. On a scale of one to ten, well let’s give this episode a six and a half and since its True Blood and I am an optimist, make it seven.</div>

After what seemed an eternity of wait, tomorrow it finally is time to sit in front of your TV or Laptop and crave for blood, sex, lust and Bill saying "Soooookie"! Come on season seven let's get sucking!</h3>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
And yes, its totally normal that we all might be wondering about three things: (1) Where the heck is Eric, (2) will Violet ever let Jason hit it and (3) what will we see Pam wearing? (Okay, maybe number two and three just happen to have me asking.) However, as a show the size and magnitude of True Blood we may very well expect the thing to go out with a bang, and no this was not a reference to the countless sex scenes. (However, according to Sam McNeil there will not be a shortage of male or female nudity in this season!) And Certainly there will be drama between Sookie and Eric and Bill and Alcide, who, lets be hones, hopefully will have more lines then "I'm the pack master!". </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Well lets all just hope that the season con jour up a worthy end to our Bon Temps favorites. Cause otherwise fans will go nuts on twitter, and hunt I gotta keep my timeline clean!</div>

Hey there again! This February Icon Art Marilyn ran the "<a href="http://iconartmarilyn.blogspot.co.uk/search/label/Transformations">Transfromations</a>" project to celebrate its one year anniversary, and after a bit of a hiatus the project is back on its second cycle. Once more in combination with <a href="http://www.facebook.com/ditawhip">Dita Whip</a>! </h3>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
This time the look we were going for was a dark eye, gorgeous red lips and a very light, white skin to counter the dark eye. The look started off with a light foundation and lots of highlighting. Afterwards contouring was added before the powder. For the eyes I uses Berry M's black glitter eyeshadow and some simple clown white blended in together. To finish the eyes of white was added to the water line and a visible black lower eyeliner. To finish off the look the lips were covered with dark red lipstick and a bit of glitter. Then Nena, my lovely volunteer, had fun with the pictures. And she is a stunning beauty rocking different wigs as well as my top hat with the signature "D". Give her some applause!</div>

It is though that the last season of <a href="http://iconartmarilyn.blogspot.co.uk/search/label/True%20Blood">True Blood</a>, season seven, will grace our screens this year, more specifically starting June 22nd. And with one sad eye and with smiling one I am looking foreword to this, hopefully bombastic, end of such a great series.</h3>

And that is what I expected. With the on rampage, Hep-V infected, vampires go mad at the town meeting at Merlotte's, or should I rather say Bellefleur's, this season supposedly starts with a big fight. the trailer shows us all sorts of vamps showing fangs, moving fast and attacking hardcore style. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The general storyline seems to be that the Hep-V vamps are out for any human alive to drink. And it does not seem that the Bon Temps forks have any intention of taking it, and fighting back. No, apparently they leave and blame Sookie for what happened. Did Pam prove right about Sookie and her precious fairy vagina? And after all, will we see Bill and her reunite, or will she stay with Alcide, who hopefully gets more lines then "I am the pack master!" tho season. Or will, please let it be like that, she reunite with yummy Eric Northman. What about Pam and Tara, and how about Olivia and Jason? Even more pressuring: Which one of our characters will die? (Please make it Bill!) And even more important: Will the series close all its questions or will it yet be another insufficient ending like so many other series had?</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Besides all that the trailer sees a Tara with her mom, Jessica swearing to protect Andy's remaining fairy daughter and there appears to be no sight of Eric. And that definitely raises the expectations as no one wants their favorite sexy vamp to have taken his last bite.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
In conclusion we might be very much looking forward to this, however, I hope that the series keeps in touch with the ideas it has touched upon the first seasons. May the gender bending and LGBT allegories continue. And may the series please continue to show that vampires are more hum alike then they want to think and vice versa for humans. Lets all take a deep bite and enjoy! taste you later Truebies!</div>

Welcome, Bienvenue, Bonjour, and Willkommen <strike>to Cabaret!</strike>.... back to Icon Art Marilyn. </h3>

And as I have succeeded in this quest a couple of days ago, I figured it was about time to revive this project. So in the next couple of days there will be some new articles for you to enjoy, including a review of a little thing called "<a href="http://iconartmarilyn.blogspot.co.uk/search/label/BANGERZ">The Bangerz Tour</a>" (Which I attended in Manchester), a review of the new Robyn music (Gosh, I love me some <a href="http://iconartmarilyn.blogspot.co.uk/search/label/robyn">Robyn</a>!) and eventually some bits and pieces of fiction aka. creative writing. So for now I will grab my cup of coffee, sit my sweet little ass down and get back to writing. Besides that I have an enormous amour of pop culture to catch up with. However, I'm still not keeping up with the Kardashians!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
For today I may leave it with this, however, there is a chance I might have something for you later! So get into it! </div>

Hey hunties! Yeah its here! The last day of the <a href="http://iconartmarilyn.blogspot.co.uk/search/label/Fantastic%20February">February celebration</a> of Icon Art Marilyn's anniversary! and as it is the tradition with such things we finish this first year with a big big bang! And this is gonna be me, <a href="http://facebook.com/ditawhip">Dita Whip</a>, in 12 shades for you! </h3>
<h3 style="text-align: justify;">
</h3>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Of course "<a href="http://iconartmarilyn.blogspot.co.uk/search/label/Transformations">Transformations</a>" has been a huge fun project for me and I thank the lovely volunteers for their participation! I hope that the actual aim of the project to highlight make-up and its facets has been anticipated and seen as well, so that there has been more then the usual awe about beautiful make-up. If you don't have any idea what the actual aim of the project is and was then <a href="http://iconartmarilyn.blogspot.co.uk/2014/02/transformations-50-shades-of-make-up.html">head here</a> to read all about it! But so far the series comes to an end.... until March 5th, when a new "Transformation" goes online, glitter style! I have decided with icon Art Marilyn that the "Transformations" project will become a category of its own here on the blog to show you all different kinds of wonderful faces, with and without make-up. But to let you see that I not only paint people I will give you 12 shades of Dita, and be part of the series! So hold on to your wigs and gag on my eleganza! xoxo</div>

Hey bubble buts and gutter sluts! Its Dita once again! And today its time for another "<a href="http://iconartmarilyn.blogspot.co.uk/search/label/Transformations">Transfromations</a>"! And this time I have the honor to present you my lovely volunteer Michaela as the <a href="http://facebook.com/DitaWhip">Dita Whip</a> version of Jessica Rabbit... with cotton candy oink hair! Lets get started, shall we?</h3>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
This look speaks of a fantasy land where reality, comic, crazy, sexy and fierce meet, intercept and have a love baby. And that looks like what you are about to see. Crazy high eyebrows, sexy pumped up lips and some damn big blue eyeshadow! Exuding sexy in the Aime form with a side dish of surprised look. What a strong and self determined beauty that looks like one of these dolls, don't you think?</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEinVie3Dk_mZWgSPEpD-MTGzj-4qDVccIACB15lE-C2UHTsCa_48HHCWKMKSybY93Ul-oKE283oZfoRUFPzoULJkv7xtqs1CX2SZoRHtSlylFOBIvi-MerFLdqdAPcPdGBtJBcPwIU7_zc/s1600/online+michi.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEinVie3Dk_mZWgSPEpD-MTGzj-4qDVccIACB15lE-C2UHTsCa_48HHCWKMKSybY93Ul-oKE283oZfoRUFPzoULJkv7xtqs1CX2SZoRHtSlylFOBIvi-MerFLdqdAPcPdGBtJBcPwIU7_zc/s1600/online+michi.jpg" height="200" width="640" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
For this look I wanted to go completely crazy and unnatural, cause the idea behind it was Jessica Rabbit. I started off with the usual contouring and highlighting, but with the difference that I glued down Michaelas eyebrows to paint all over them later. After powder, powder and more powder, i was done with her eyebrows which then made me paint on new ones somewhere high on her forehead. Afterwards I painted all white what was going to be the eyeshadow part before I added layers of blue eyeshadow for the optimal coverage. Then, adding thick and juicy black eyeliner and mascara completed the eye part. The lips were finished by a red lipstick and some bright accents in the lip corners. Of course some lip gloss was added to optically boost the lips.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj24P1gjOjTAndk_2ulRf486AKEjB3JVxtlMij8ZF5iPs3UX5GaeS7Sp-yqnn9ZHQ9uSF5RKZWklpgjjPADzm4LXo3nDdxEt1Xp-5kMlbIkFvkEjpJEk5vXjEjjSWgmignYR5ggC0fdai8/s1600/online+michi-001.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj24P1gjOjTAndk_2ulRf486AKEjB3JVxtlMij8ZF5iPs3UX5GaeS7Sp-yqnn9ZHQ9uSF5RKZWklpgjjPADzm4LXo3nDdxEt1Xp-5kMlbIkFvkEjpJEk5vXjEjjSWgmignYR5ggC0fdai8/s1600/online+michi-001.jpg" height="640" width="640" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Of course you can get an insight into what Michaela had to say about her transformation:</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgoKg6wTk-JQOwdTSfz5-PYTgXm-jV_gAvTLvarGryg_spLLJY_4-DpKGr0d_Me4z82C7a-cbTiu93pqOW1S698H6sfW6eR7jjC-sBPeo92SGGjUyeBSTdZJgsxyTCSUOaByDMJALidRmE/s1600/Photo+on+2014-01-25+at+21.00+%232.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgoKg6wTk-JQOwdTSfz5-PYTgXm-jV_gAvTLvarGryg_spLLJY_4-DpKGr0d_Me4z82C7a-cbTiu93pqOW1S698H6sfW6eR7jjC-sBPeo92SGGjUyeBSTdZJgsxyTCSUOaByDMJALidRmE/s1600/Photo+on+2014-01-25+at+21.00+%232.jpg" height="320" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i>As Sandra Bullock correctly said, ‘make-up is scary’. Nevertheless, Dita’s offer was a great opportunity to try something new and face up to the challenge. For someone who does not use very much make-up and has short hair, the weight of both, makeup and wig, were new to me. Already after the first layers of foundation, my face felt significantly heavier. Since my eyebrows (or what is left of them… Insert joke about trichotillomania here!) were to disappear, Dita used a mixture of different glues to flatten their structure and cover them with makeup. With a face full of glue and heavy layers of makeup, I felt like a Hollywood star shortly after her tenth lifting – my face was an alien part of my body, incapable of moving or showing any facial expressions, you know... just like Kristin Stewart. Since it took quite long to finish the makeup, I had time to become familiar with my new look… and in the end, I even liked it! Although long hair will never feel right on my head, it was a great experience to slip into a different role…. And the fact that neither my family nor my friends recognized me on the pictures shows, that this was a radical transformation!</i></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
And, since we once more did not take a real half and half picture, here Dita got for you a sort of half and half one:<i> </i></div>

<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Tonight on Logo TV we will see the whole first episode in whole of the new season where we see whom of the queens TV series inspired couture send her packing or gets her the Ru stamp of approval in the form of a shantay you stay! And darlings I am voting for .. both to go home! #AllTAllShade But lets get it started from the beginning. As the new queens entered the workroom we had all the shade at first as they were only seven and had to compete just between each other. They will just meet the others after they survived this first episode. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
When the queens began the season with the usual Mike Ruiz photo-shoot they had to make a jump into TV. Literally. Jumping into a pool of foam they had to give leg, body, face and fish in the air. And Laganja Estranja grabbed the win as she was giving us legs for ages and fierce for days! When the main challenge arrived the queens had to create a couture outfit that resembled from stuff that aligned to TV's best known shows, including (Fucked UP) Duck Dynasty, Keeping Up With The Kartrashians, Dancing With The Stars and Golden Girls. In the end Ben De La Creme and April Carrion rocked the competition with Ben winning. I started to absolutely hate Laganja Estranja, adore Adore Delano even more, despise Kelly Mantle for her lack of character profile and fashion forwardness, disagreeing with everyone about Vivacious hideous walk and outfit and finally starting to think that all that Gia Gun is good at is giving face. So in the end I definitely am looking forward for the second set of girls to get it to the next level. So gentlemen, start you engines! And may the best woman win! Oh and the guest judges of course were Mike Ruiz and the hot hot hot Adam Lambert!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
See you next Tuesday for another Dita's Whip with all the T about Drag Race! Cause from now on: Tuesday will be the T with Dita!</div>

Hallelu! Yesterday has been a real feast when Jill showed us her <a href="http://iconartmarilyn.blogspot.co.uk/2014/02/transformation-versace-90s-realness.html">Versace 90's realness look</a> and made us gag on her eleganza extravaganza! And, during the making of this gemstone, <a href="http://facebook.com/DitaWhip">Dita Whip</a> had someone to take pictures during the process, you know, to document it. Are you ready for the behind the scenes? Then lets get to it! </h3>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-TcUF5YfKKsvAKkaWbyFQnI6G_RZ3E0StdKdXI8GCoXs32T3xhvtkU44KRN5nEXO5DlnIgS_7BB-k7REBMyenakavtudKXDzQR0HXe3SFtEwOT8Szh-YWYv5sD2OBUbJuWCtmeBSGk34/s1600/Jill+Making+Off1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-TcUF5YfKKsvAKkaWbyFQnI6G_RZ3E0StdKdXI8GCoXs32T3xhvtkU44KRN5nEXO5DlnIgS_7BB-k7REBMyenakavtudKXDzQR0HXe3SFtEwOT8Szh-YWYv5sD2OBUbJuWCtmeBSGk34/s1600/Jill+Making+Off1.jpg" height="200" width="640" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
First of course there was an extensive amount of foundation, contouring and a wig cap to hold back Jill's hair, cause ain't nobody got time for getting foundation outta your hair gurrl!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZwjUp8IgsJTnR3SkZY_PKm7-LArdcJC35WnrNtyrZwi_ueTgPvZfG0-Be3h_7HjLzaaTAqRkDMxE57VBdqdNlqCjSv9hszS3z7pVPIk1YWa9ymSC4EzUxeSo5rEwRTHFKDNg-VD3cWs8/s1600/Jill+Making+Off2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZwjUp8IgsJTnR3SkZY_PKm7-LArdcJC35WnrNtyrZwi_ueTgPvZfG0-Be3h_7HjLzaaTAqRkDMxE57VBdqdNlqCjSv9hszS3z7pVPIk1YWa9ymSC4EzUxeSo5rEwRTHFKDNg-VD3cWs8/s1600/Jill+Making+Off2.jpg" height="640" width="640" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Then came the usual highlighting with clown white make up that was been blended in to the nines. Spread that stuff good and well so it wont be seen no more! Highlights were set under the eyes, the forehead, under the cheeks, along the nose, under the nose and on the chin. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEix0r6SHo082FjCmm1hDJQgaobLXxnJyXz4ni5T-jj0NNGfae3-9rgwO7jHthXGQ9QKmZHg9OeNdQIipWcvaPfg7hFegafBRVtwv0gDNzzCBrMxvaICXIqx4rk0MRdfekPOiHu5K95q6PI/s1600/Jill+Making+Off3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEix0r6SHo082FjCmm1hDJQgaobLXxnJyXz4ni5T-jj0NNGfae3-9rgwO7jHthXGQ9QKmZHg9OeNdQIipWcvaPfg7hFegafBRVtwv0gDNzzCBrMxvaICXIqx4rk0MRdfekPOiHu5K95q6PI/s1600/Jill+Making+Off3.jpg" height="640" width="640" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
After all the highlights have been blended in lots of powder was added on there (Not in the pictures), and some more blending had to be done. After that a little bit of blush was added. Then the color part began. With some simple but delicious pink red eyeshadow.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjVKZcOEoHteIdTZHqwKZdBGcxjpctJ85i9n6RJ0rN4FYigNjnZjdgkliC-NdtOc5j-HuQpxGX0YVkkPGNnKgV8kP6dbf5RfNkPg1KvFqNZu5AHh69Yb9H9bMu9Y7BV33EoP2yHGPjxpKU/s1600/Jill+Making+Off4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjVKZcOEoHteIdTZHqwKZdBGcxjpctJ85i9n6RJ0rN4FYigNjnZjdgkliC-NdtOc5j-HuQpxGX0YVkkPGNnKgV8kP6dbf5RfNkPg1KvFqNZu5AHh69Yb9H9bMu9Y7BV33EoP2yHGPjxpKU/s1600/Jill+Making+Off4.jpg" height="640" width="640" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
After the blush all the colors were added to Jills forehead, her eyebrows were thickened and a huge eyeliner completed the look along red shiny lips. And the result was as seen in the next picture.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj3l9Ps7Ty0YmVEMZUj6B1kH62ZdZ912iyxZhDXjF9hWWIk1evhxakCPX5kiozflKFN1q-g0L7mKt8zDelvh3h7PtzlYR_UMeal8-zASPFHXxoOe1uhFsIqFwEjyjXuf3gfjuIB_5cOxXk/s1600/Jill+Making+Off5.48+%233.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj3l9Ps7Ty0YmVEMZUj6B1kH62ZdZ912iyxZhDXjF9hWWIk1evhxakCPX5kiozflKFN1q-g0L7mKt8zDelvh3h7PtzlYR_UMeal8-zASPFHXxoOe1uhFsIqFwEjyjXuf3gfjuIB_5cOxXk/s1600/Jill+Making+Off5.48+%233.jpg" height="640" width="640" /></a></div>

Hey there hunties! Today it is time for the second run of my lovely volunteer Jill and her pictures as a Versace 90's model. If you havent seen Jill's first, <a href="http://iconartmarilyn.blogspot.co.uk/2014/02/transformations-pop-art-realness.html">Pop Art Realness, "Transformations"</a> check it out here! So lets have at it and turn and twist this "Transfromations" episode <a href="http://facebook.com/DitaWhip">Dita Whip</a> style!</h3>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Ths look exudes roman or greek elegance with the idea of the fierce glamazon! This look speaks of an agressive straight forewrd woman with lots of confidence in her abilities. She knows that her beauty is from an ancient perfection and screams color bride of the rainbow. Luxurious feeling and sickeningly devastating richness of color give this attire the last finish.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOpjMyo60_-Tr9_N1x7QgSCU7hUitvGHQ71GG-x4J3J-8aqP3kwMYmcfNrZ4daIP6oxcvrfqDLL0xstE5aGc1jNZXp_niwg3V1SzhjrR0BOKT-AfdaPbXLvL1_eH5UfH4J31zpB8AmTo4/s1600/Jill.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOpjMyo60_-Tr9_N1x7QgSCU7hUitvGHQ71GG-x4J3J-8aqP3kwMYmcfNrZ4daIP6oxcvrfqDLL0xstE5aGc1jNZXp_niwg3V1SzhjrR0BOKT-AfdaPbXLvL1_eH5UfH4J31zpB8AmTo4/s1600/Jill.jpg" height="200" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Highlighting and contouring within this look are very extensive, to create a perfcet foundation for the many colors that are to be set on her forehead. The most part of the work was it to add the rainbow around the eye parts, although it was not a real rainbow. The gold part around the center of the foreheadtook the longest. All together all the colors had to be added as several layers so that they really shined bright and powerfull. The look was completed by a simple but thick eyeliner and red, volumptuous lips. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-2_xEkfEoTAa3W8UPikCDiHYOSApB8oKb8ZuymM6xYwJXQ0WULZZzv8M0U4m3I681rxWddXqkEE6G-YO0wV5Ix4V7NFJbax7Q65KHp1twGY5eOb8mo9E4KusfGiTjXPef2jkP34CLV4I/s1600/Jill-001.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-2_xEkfEoTAa3W8UPikCDiHYOSApB8oKb8ZuymM6xYwJXQ0WULZZzv8M0U4m3I681rxWddXqkEE6G-YO0wV5Ix4V7NFJbax7Q65KHp1twGY5eOb8mo9E4KusfGiTjXPef2jkP34CLV4I/s1600/Jill-001.jpg" height="452" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
And as per ususal my volunteer gave her opinion on the transformation! This is how she felt about this all:</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i>To be honest I'm rather a fan of the n's... nude... natural... or no make-up at all! But I have to admit that I was looking forward to the transformation, especially because I was curious how different I am able to look. It is always astonishing to see how make-up can change a person's overall appearance. For days the girls participating in the series were really excited about who would be getting which theme for her look. When I heard that I should be turned into a Brazilian or Indian colour explosion I was even more curious. Would I look like a Holi Festival visitor splashed with paint or like a colourful canary bird? After about two hours of pasting and gumming up every pore (not to mention the neck pain) the result was stunning! The face in the mirror was not mine anymore but I loved the combination of colours which reached up to my hairline. I'd describe it as a piece of art in which Dita put in much effort. However, it's still hard for me to imagine that there are actually many girls taking that much time every morning to put on their daily mask.</i></div>
<br />
And as per usual you also get a look behind the scenes with the half and half picture! Oh and stay tuned for tomorrows behind the scenes pictures of the whole transformation!<br />

Hey there, its me again, Dita! I have looked through all of the post here on Icon Art Marilyn and I have made a list of posts that you guys enjoyed reading the most. And I have to say: You have quite set the mark on one here! So lets get started, shall we?</h3>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
#10 - "<a href="http://iconartmarilyn.blogspot.co.uk/search/label/TV%20series%20I%20am%20addicted%20to">TV Series I Am Addicted To</a>" - <a href="http://iconartmarilyn.blogspot.co.uk/2013/08/tv-series-i-am-addicted-to-akta.html">Äkta Människor - Real Humans</a></div>
<br />
Bringing you everything on this science fiction drama show you seemed to enjoy reading the review of the series first season. Quite understandable as the makers have really outdone themselves on this one with all their ideas, concepts and possible interpretations. Haven read it yet? Then go ahead and take a look!<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgpgR-k7DDpx-B6I8QGTn-jNWp1EtLhUTcDA2Ggdw0T3EGBSfjuuOKq3EyaMHe8FDZDYdAP6gH5dhY9elYwLGdM2pJOao6mKigCX1V_ivuPc1HSm8VJ1PmC7laac-79D0P2ridDLoEmzp0/s1600/f-86481-1sqc8g.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgpgR-k7DDpx-B6I8QGTn-jNWp1EtLhUTcDA2Ggdw0T3EGBSfjuuOKq3EyaMHe8FDZDYdAP6gH5dhY9elYwLGdM2pJOao6mKigCX1V_ivuPc1HSm8VJ1PmC7laac-79D0P2ridDLoEmzp0/s1600/f-86481-1sqc8g.jpg" height="360" width="640" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
#09 - <a href="http://iconartmarilyn.blogspot.co.uk/2014/01/why-to-not-boycott-olympia-maybe-of.html">Why to (not?) boycott Olympia - The Maybe of Sotchi</a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
At the hight of the time and very on point you made this one one of your favorites in quite a small amount of time. Discussing wether or not one should or not boycott the Olympic Winter Games 2014 in Russia brought me a personal decision. And you seemed to enjoy that. Well you got good taste!</div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
#08 - "<a href="http://iconartmarilyn.blogspot.co.uk/search/label/Music%20Minute">Music Minute"</a> - <a href="http://iconartmarilyn.blogspot.co.uk/2013/11/music-minute-artpop-track-by-track.html">ARTPOP - A track by track review</a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I see you are just as big of music fans then I am, and in particluar you seemed to enjoy my review of Lady Gaga's third studio epos ARTPOP. I gave you my opinion on the album cover and all of the songs in detail, and you read all about it! The only thing left for me to say is that you guys hopefully enjoyed all of it as much as I did!</div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
#07 - "I Love Art" - <a href="http://iconartmarilyn.blogspot.co.uk/2013/08/i-love-art-lady-gaga-beauty-that.html">Lady Gaga, the beauty that deconstructs beauty, using camp</a>.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Once again we go with Gaga here, but definitely on the art side this time. You seemed to have enjoyed the picture Icon Art Marilyn drew you to sweeten the wait for the release of ARTPOP. The whole thing was added with some ideas about camp and t<u>he</u> deconstruction of common beauty ideals.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
#06 - "<a href="http://iconartmarilyn.blogspot.co.uk/search/label/Music%20Minute">Music Minute</a>" - <a href="http://iconartmarilyn.blogspot.co.uk/2013/08/music-minute-applause-for-applause.html">Applause for the APPLAUSE VIDEO by Lady Gaga</a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Commenting on the hype postponing the release of ARTPOP as a whole gave me the opportunity to take a good hard look at the video for Applause and analyze it to the nines! I found it quite an interesting taks and it seems you found I did a good job, as you have rewarded me with reading this article a lot!<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
#05 - <a href="http://iconartmarilyn.blogspot.co.uk/2013/08/applause-out-today.html">APPLAUSE OUT TODAY</a></div>
<br />
My last Gaga related article on this list is a quickly put together thing on the rush release and the leaked demos of "Applause" by Lady Gaga. As well I gave the song a review and I expressed my admiration. besides that I killed my speakers by playing the song approximately 600 times within 3 days. And you seemed to have liked it as well and gave the article an amazingly high number of reads.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
#04 - "<a href="http://iconartmarilyn.blogspot.co.uk/search/label/Born%20naked%20rest%20is%20drag">Born Naked, The Rest is Drag</a>" - <a href="http://iconartmarilyn.blogspot.co.uk/2013/05/born-naked-rest-is-drag-willam-belli.html">Willam Belli</a></div>
<br />
One of the neglected, and freshly revived sections, of my blog has really flourished in the form of an article about the legendary Willam Belli. And Willam has commented on this one and created a storm about it. And yes Is stand by my opinion that Willam is a bit arrogant but still I love her as fuck!<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
#03 - <a href="http://iconartmarilyn.blogspot.co.uk/search/label/Just%20in">"Just In!"</a> - <a href="http://iconartmarilyn.blogspot.co.uk/2013/07/just-in-mtv-vmas-2013-nominations-are.html">MTV VMA Nominations 2013 are out!</a></div>
<br />
Oh the 2013 infamous VMAS. Remember that TWERK Moment that ran around the world? Lady Gaga slaying everyone in that seashell bikini? Macklemore making that thing gayer than a gloryhole? You sure do! And as well you wanted to know all the nominees!<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
#02 - "<a href="http://iconartmarilyn.blogspot.co.uk/search/label/Just%20in">Just in!</a>" & "<a href="http://iconartmarilyn.blogspot.co.uk/search/label/Music%20Minute">Music Minute</a>" - <a href="http://iconartmarilyn.blogspot.co.uk/2013/06/just-in-music-minute-dancing-with-miley.html">Dancing With Miley, or with Molly</a>?</div>
<br />
Remember what happened when Miley cyrus popped out that video for "We Can't Stop" video and all that controversy about that Miley & Molly lyric was up? I sure do and you seemed to like the info about it all and clicked that article.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
#01 - <a href="http://iconartmarilyn.blogspot.co.uk/2013/08/gay-marriage-one-manwoman-and-one.html">(Gay) Marriage: One Man (Woman) and One (Man) Woman - As if! I highly doubt it!</a></div>
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #535353; font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', Trebuchet, Verdana, sans-serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 22px;"><br /></span></span>This article was the most heartfelt ever on this blog. And I think that hopefully showed through when I deconstructed a video that states that gay marriage hurts society, children, women and the state. You read this on like hell, it spread on Twitter an even some celebrities like Latrice Royale, Margaret Cho, Kathy Griffins assistant and a few others retweeted it. Thanks so much guys!<br />

Hey darlings! After yesterdays article about what Drag means to me I now give you another stunning "<a href="http://iconartmarilyn.blogspot.co.uk/search/label/Transformations">Transformations</a>". This time modeled after my daytime job, my lovely volunteer Lisa got turned into a professional #Sexcretary! the office will never be the same again!</h3>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The <a href="http://facebook.com/DitaWhip">Dita Whip</a> #Sexretary look is actually a very natural one. Highlighting and contouring are very light compared to the other make-overs and display a natural beauty. The look speaks of an office romance in the 80's where the rule is: No romance without finance. But: our #Sexcretary is not light headed! No underneath her bubbly pink wig is a sharp mind! Sexy confidence with straight drawn boundaries! Otherwise shell let you know with her ruler what you have done wrong! </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh3q-mgnPJBWiWGOJAFwARbcDTG_RRiVSAA1QGICBTEwcjpT3A493vdQdpuShlS_tVF789xf5rPPi10EmGB4LCD4fl1uehCvWekWxd-gCx-yS0ujJLqv-C5jO3X7gX1SoTHTkdI-w4W5PY/s1600/lisa-001.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh3q-mgnPJBWiWGOJAFwARbcDTG_RRiVSAA1QGICBTEwcjpT3A493vdQdpuShlS_tVF789xf5rPPi10EmGB4LCD4fl1uehCvWekWxd-gCx-yS0ujJLqv-C5jO3X7gX1SoTHTkdI-w4W5PY/s1600/lisa-001.jpg" height="200" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Like I said before highlighting and contouring are very basic and natural. The look consists of a little darkened eyebrows, red and lilac colored eyeshadow and a fine but supreme eyeliner. Completed is the whole ensemble by irresistibly full red lips that are framed by deliciously dark red lip liner. On top of that Lisa decided to give my pink curly ling wig a try and made the look a cotton candy fantasy that invites the spectator to take a bite out of that deliciousness!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
As with all "Transformations" before, I asked my volunteer Lisa to give us a few words about what she felt the experience was like.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i>Being Dita Whip’s canvas? Becoming her personally designed and coloured puppet?<br />Well, to be honest, I wasn’t quite as enthusiastic as I probably should have been considering that Dita is a really good friend of mine. But her love for extravagance and exaggeration was frightening me a bit and I wasn’t sure if I was ready to let her take complete control. But retrospectively I need to admit: it was an amazing experience! Like the other volunteers, I was graciously seated, my hair was pulled back as hard as humanly possible and Dita ordered: ‘Head back and hold it, dear!’ (Okay I have to admit that this sounds slightly like one of these third class porn films. I have to stop saying that! ^^) This simple instruction soon became my worst nightmare: putting on one layer of make-up after the other, powdering my face clearly 100 times and having somebody concentrating on the perfect eyelid line for more than 20 minutes – I just wasn’t able to feel my neck anymore. But finally all those exertions were absolutely worth it! Having the privilege of being the first person to wear Dita’s new pink wig (Even I haven’t worn it then!) in addition to looking like a different, but actually pretty beautiful person, I felt amazingly transformed. This strange woman who was looking at me from inside in the mirror became more and more familiar as I starred at her, and in the end Dita had to literally push me out of the camera’s focus – I simply couldn’t get enough of this moment of masquerade; this escape from reality and normality. Next time Dita asks for my participation, my answer will definitely be: ‘Hell, yes!</i></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Sadly we forgot to take a half and half picture of the transformation as a whole, but to use the candy effect f the wig we played around a little with a picture and ended up with this: </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<h3>
Hey my little #<a href="http://facebook.com/DitaWhip">Whipsters</a> out there! Today I hit Icon Art Marilyn on a more serious note and on a try to explain to you why I recently decided to engage in the wonderful world of wigs, make-up, CUNT (Charisma, Uniqueness, Nerve and Talent) and gender blending called drag. </h3>
</div>
<br /><div style="text-align: justify;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhKj5vbZYX-GlAEA7P8CxtcmAqqA449xUZ02aRD2EWCRHYO_epcWG2DGSEd7v54YiEetd8gHPqXTzfN4BPx0gYNZMtoHw6msjPLWnxSi6FtRBVnSFKUeUza35Wkg6_y9i6iuaI_XpFi_ng/s1600/2014-02-11+23.21.51.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhKj5vbZYX-GlAEA7P8CxtcmAqqA449xUZ02aRD2EWCRHYO_epcWG2DGSEd7v54YiEetd8gHPqXTzfN4BPx0gYNZMtoHw6msjPLWnxSi6FtRBVnSFKUeUza35Wkg6_y9i6iuaI_XpFi_ng/s1600/2014-02-11+23.21.51.jpg" height="640" width="330" /></a>Basically this could all fall under the question of why I like drag, and what drag means to me as a queen of just about four months of age. Well of fist drag is definitely a lot of fun and a hell of a good time for me. It offers me to take performing a character to another level and play around with everything from fashion, performance, make up, gender and societies idea of how a person should be. It is the perfect opportunity to give fertile ground to the viciously funny part of me, to mean jokes, inappropriate comments and the urge to be a publicity whore. Drag gives me the possibility to unleash an inner diva and create a demanding attitude of bubbling fun and devastating bitchiness. <br /><br />On the other hand drag gives me the opportunity to talk to everyone at a party, to be the center of attention or just give someone a smile, a picture or a dance to better their evening and make them smile… (You know, when they are not gagging in my fierce attitude!) And besides that, It as well allows me to use words a fierce, sickening, fabulous and devastating as much as I wish. Drag, gives myself the opportunity to feel beautiful and fearless due to the attention people give me. Having the girls admire my make up, even though my are up abilities are far from perfect, the gays bombing out about my overall fashion or even the straights wanting a piece of me gives yourself confidence. And that confidence gives me the possibility to definitely tell the fuckers off and try to make my world funnier and more fierce then ever! <br /><br />But drag definitely is not my jumping board onto the train of trans-gendered people. I respect and support trans people where I just can, but at the end of it all, when the make-up and the wig come off, the dress is down, the tuck undone and the high heels off, I am so glad to be a man in a world still dominated by men. But then again drag gives me a sense of what it must be like, at least partially, to be a woman that is confronted with the stereotypes of this mans world. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I hope I could give you a little insight view into my world and maybe one or another of you may have the desire to try this wonder him or herself! See you tomorrow then! XOXO <a href="http://iconartmarilyn.blogspot.co.uk/search/label/Dita%20Whip">Dita</a>! </div>

Hey there! After yesterdays break in out <a href="http://iconartmarilyn.blogspot.co.uk/search/label/Fantastic%20February">February Anniversary Celebration </a>today it is time for another sickening "<a href="http://iconartmarilyn.blogspot.co.uk/search/label/Transformations">Transformations</a>" episode to get you gagging on the beauty my lovely volunteer Jill. So lets get into this <a href="http://facebook.com/DitaWhip">Dita Whip</a> style, shall we?</h3>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Obviously inspired by the pop art prince Roy Lichtenstein and his iconic signature of dots this make-up job was a little different.... on the painting side. The look is very comic art and overly sad. The dots look like the measles but in a sickening and good way! INFECTIVE! Giving a strong mixture of female stereotypical emotional instability mixed with fierce cunt attitude, letting you have it on the fake femme fatal smile side! Can I get my MoMA ticket now?</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjXFaZO7UW-JGtNC7UIpBfw8dd17ed5lKDrDwVd8RMdhUuI3DuLFinX5suq0b9uHxUofhpLNGBfXBxZH53MqOEjlwPBJP9XfIF6Hnr0XG18D6NFjyOfoPS6lGw4KUP8VZ5POQzS3GlQwg/s1600/Jill+Pop+1-002.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjXFaZO7UW-JGtNC7UIpBfw8dd17ed5lKDrDwVd8RMdhUuI3DuLFinX5suq0b9uHxUofhpLNGBfXBxZH53MqOEjlwPBJP9XfIF6Hnr0XG18D6NFjyOfoPS6lGw4KUP8VZ5POQzS3GlQwg/s1600/Jill+Pop+1-002.jpg" height="200" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Making this look come real took me a mixture of foundation and white face paint to create the perfect canvas for this colorfully transformation. After this the black lines had to be added so I darkened Jills eyebrows, her hairline, her ears and everything else possible. After making her more dark then Americas financial future I added a dramatic eyeline, black and red lipstick and some blue eyeshadow. With this done it was time for me to sickening it up and go for the red dots. A real pop art masterpiece that made my volunteer think she had the measles! </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

I was not quite convinced. (Okay I have to give it to my lovely Jill here, That was an extreme transformation!) Especially because my skin was already burning from the Versace transformation we did earlier that make-up session (Stay tuned! The Versace one is my favourite!). Besides, it was late and A LOT of dots were needed. (Oh YES hunty!) It felt like ages until my face finally looked like an artwork á la Roy Lichtenstein (Or like the measles...) (She kinda takes that sickening thing a little too far, isn’t she?) Anyways, it did not look like me at all but Dita actually succeeded in producing a work of art out of it. Now I just had to put on the “Oh Jeff I love you too...”-look for the photo and voila! Ultimately I still have to add that after removing the make up my face and especially my eyes burned like hell and it took me four times of washing my hair until the black dye was eventually fully removed. But it was worth the fun! (Aww! Thanks my dear! Was lots of fun working with you! But that should as well prove that make-up is a two bladed sword!)</i></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Okay, and last, but certainly not least, here you can see a half and half version of the transformation on Jill's face! So judge for yourself how much of a transformation this was!</div>

Hey bubble butts and gutter sluts! =) It's <a href="http://facebook.com/DitaWhip">Dita Whip</a> again here! Today the fourth episodes of "<a href="http://iconartmarilyn.blogspot.co.uk/search/label/Transformations">Transformations</a>" is here for you all to enjoy! This time my good friend Sally is volunteering and lets me use her face to completely transform her into a crazy mixture of super villains.</h3>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
This time I went for a totally of the normal spectrum look. No natural colors here to be seen mixed with crazy hair and a fierce attitude give this look a crazy aura of super villain. The look exudes everything that Poison Ivy had in stereotypical femininity and sexy aggression of danger with the crazy madness of the twisted mind and destructible ideas of the joker. And I think that Sally has grown quite fond of that character!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8_tkRHuC0XCWcIY2g1jAFmgfz2_As4ZUcr43E9PzMpUFsvELN63bF0IrDWiq_zfeK-9X97_FLFJ8876w7nAmjr0eZ70Ly-fFVNLPCMbehYS1IjHpllnspkr_GueRwyenYm6R2CUm-qO0/s1600/Sally+1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8_tkRHuC0XCWcIY2g1jAFmgfz2_As4ZUcr43E9PzMpUFsvELN63bF0IrDWiq_zfeK-9X97_FLFJ8876w7nAmjr0eZ70Ly-fFVNLPCMbehYS1IjHpllnspkr_GueRwyenYm6R2CUm-qO0/s1600/Sally+1.jpg" height="640" width="452" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The routine of make-up this time was a little different then with the others. For this transformation I went with a little of foundation as my prime base and then added tons of white clown paint. To accelerate the effect I added some white powder. And that was the effort for the foundation. And it was then that the colors of the eye-shadow-pallet came out and then the colors just came on her face. Adding some black details and smudged red lips and e-voila: Poison Ivy 2.0 was born!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRifjpZJrlEnijmMBrk9zWsVx2X6wcEIyvDgjMHuN4qiYFXuxlNAfO0ETSHHEyOPNvkToHZ6ZRwDWQ1grCxQiN52kP93UMpZppf-q4ALoVkuVcIEnmAJjaQ-KTH64MlIIuWZ72uwNMQjQ/s1600/Sally+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRifjpZJrlEnijmMBrk9zWsVx2X6wcEIyvDgjMHuN4qiYFXuxlNAfO0ETSHHEyOPNvkToHZ6ZRwDWQ1grCxQiN52kP93UMpZppf-q4ALoVkuVcIEnmAJjaQ-KTH64MlIIuWZ72uwNMQjQ/s1600/Sally+2.jpg" height="640" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
And to get you an idea of what Sally thought of her own transformation go ahead and read in her own words what it felt like to be the picture of a mad man and an iconic female super villain.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<i>It wasn’t until a few days after I had volunteered to be ‘whipped’ until the reality of what I was about to undergo really set in. Dita arrived at my house with a bigger handbag than I think I’ll ever own, and after about ten minutes dedicated to setting up alone, I was excited to begin. I’m a girl who loves my make up…If I can avoid going out without my full ‘face’ of make up, I will. Personally, I simply love the fact that even on my worst of days, with a little make up and effort, I can leave the house knowing that the stresses and tires of the week can be blended away. Or at least partially! That being said, I wasn’t quite prepared for the transformation that I was to undergo. So, I sat whilst Dita worked her magic on me like a child, full of anticipation and frankly, a little scared to move. About two hours later, I was looking at a version of myself that I had never encountered. I was a different person entirely. Initially I felt like someone had simply placed a mask over my face, as I looked out at this strange character in the mirror. Gradually though, the character became more and more of myself, only with a lot more attitude and sass! I had turned from boring old me into a woman with a lot more confidence… almost instantly. The photographs were still a little awkward to begin with, the conscious person inside of me screaming how ridiculous you must seem, but with a little time and patience, I adjusted. This was me. A new, confident me. And I loved every second.</i></div>

<i> </i></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
And, last but not least, I ill give you the half and half picture of<i> </i>the transformation, so you can judge for yourself. So see you on Monday then darlings! XOXO Dita<i> </i></div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Anyways. Sharon started out on season four as somewhat an underdog as people recognized her only to be a whack job or a spooky bitch with nothing but facades and no depth to her drag. But she constantly brought the house down from the very first second on as she one the first weeks main challenge in her post-apocalyptic couture. She impressed the judges as she clearly did not survive the apocalypse but died during it and came back... with blood dripping from her mouth. During season four she proved to be a knockout and has wowed the judges with her costume versatility. And who could ever forget her legendary fights with the phierce PhiPhi O'hara. The whole party city and busted showgirl thing still gives me the shivers and want me to kill PhiPhi (Sorry Gurrl!). Other highlights of her season performance include her Michelle Visage at Snatch Game, her K9 couture and her seemingly endless pot of white foundation.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
After winning season four of Drag Race she engaged on a public wave and recorded her debut album PG-13 that is a great combination of musical ideas with her Gothic punk attitude. As well she features her former boy and girlfriend Alaska Thunderfuck, Ana Matronik from the Scissor Sisters and Amanda Lepore. She released her latest single and video, called "Dressed to Kill" a couple of days ago and it is sickening hunties! So get into it, watch it below and see you tomorrow! XOXO Dita!</div>
