"Born Naked, The Rest is Drag" - Sharon Needles

Hey hunties, it's, what a surprise, Dita again here! Today it comes down to another episode of "Born Naked, The Rest is Drag" featuring the unspookable and drag-tastic winner of RuPauls Drag Race Season 4: Sharon Needles. So don't share your needled with Sharon Needles.

Anyways. Sharon started out on season four as somewhat an underdog as people recognized her only to be a whack job or a spooky bitch with nothing but facades and no depth to her drag. But she constantly brought the house down from the very first second on as she one the first weeks main challenge in her post-apocalyptic couture. She impressed the judges as she clearly did not survive the apocalypse but died during it and came back... with blood dripping from her mouth. During season four she proved to be a knockout and has wowed the judges with her costume versatility. And who could ever forget her legendary fights with the phierce PhiPhi O'hara. The whole party city and busted showgirl thing still gives me the shivers and want me to kill PhiPhi (Sorry Gurrl!). Other highlights of her season performance include her Michelle Visage at Snatch Game, her K9 couture and her seemingly endless pot of white foundation.

After winning season four of Drag Race she engaged on a public wave and recorded her debut album PG-13 that is a great combination of musical ideas with her Gothic punk attitude. As well she features her former boy and girlfriend Alaska Thunderfuck, Ana Matronik from the Scissor Sisters and Amanda Lepore. She released her latest single and video, called "Dressed to Kill" a couple of days ago and it is sickening hunties! So get into it, watch it below and see you tomorrow! XOXO Dita!

"Born Naked, The Rest is Drag" - Pandora Boxx

Hey dolls, its Dita! How you doing? Hope you hade a fierce day yesterday and now are ready for the second episode of "Born Naked, The Rest is Drag!" of the week. This time it features New York based,  RuPauls Drag Race Season 2 darling and Miss Congeniality winner: Pandora Boxx.

Pandora Boxx's is the firce, funny and "female" alter ego of 41 year old Michael Steck, who has made Pandora's boxx a really great act to experience. Pandora has so far been part of RuPauls Drag Race, RuPauls Drag Race Allstars and RuPauls Drag U making her one of the most appearing queens on the franchise, as well as she has been on Shery Vines (Remember the post about Sherry? Read it here!) "She's Living For This" variety show and she currently is a writer for the Huffington Post LGBT New Voices. Besides that Pandora is a queen to watch, and having a look at how she developed during Drag Race, it becomed pretty obious why. Pandora is always changing up her wardrobe and tries to keep it interesting. But unfortunately that happened not enough during the show and so Ru called her the Susann Lucci of the competition: always on top, but sadly never the winner of a challenge. Pandora has a unique sense of humor that came to a great expression in her portrayal of Carol Channing in the Snatch Game. There she wowed the judges, but ultimately did not win. (It was a shame girl!) Her elemination from Drag race was one of the most controversial ones in herstory. But Pandora held her wigged up head high and went on from there.

She was voted the actual next drag superstar after her elimination by EW.com. She from then on had countless appearances on TV and her performances are funny, campy and entertaining. Besides beeing a landmark in the NYC drag community Pandora performs all over the world and has released several comedic songs. My favorite one is her rendition of "I Wanna Have Some Fun" and turning it into "Nice Car (Sham About Your Penis)". So go forth and check out this seasoned and beautiful queen!

"Born Naked, The Rest is Drag!" - Sherry Vine

I have to, once again, admit that this series is seriously neglected. And so, as part of the anniversary celebration, I decided to give it a boost like never before! So to start it off, here we go with another edition of "Born Naked, The Rest is Drag!"

This time it is New York darling Sherry Vine, YouTube Breakout Star, Songstress and Poop Pop parody performing drag cougar who gets her moment in the Icon Art Marilyn spotlight! Sherry is known for her amazing legs which, if you have a close look at them, are truly to kill for. What brought Sherry on the parameter was her appearances with RuPaul during the 90's and as well she has been a constant in the NYC drag community. When in the 2000's she finally made her ways onto YouTube she laid out the foundation bricks for her online superstardom.

With funny, campy and sometimes R rated parodies of Madonna, Lady Gaga and Adele songs she won the heart of the online community and has cemented her funny and campy character. Sherry is one of the older queens on the panel of the drag community but there ain't not reason for her to stop, or to not look sickeningly flawless. 

Sherry currently is the host and creator of her own TV series of here TV called: "She's living for this!" which is a drag variety and sketch show featuring other queens like Lady Bunny, Bianca Del Rio and other New York drag dies. I personally love Sherry since she does not really take herself too serious and definitely has a great sense of humor that transcends cultural background. She as well  is a true fan of most of the pop culture she mocks and that really marks her as a great entertainer.

"Born naked, the rest is drag!" - Jinkx Monsoon

Yes, I have to admit that I have horribly neglected this part of my blog, so may the drag goddesses forgive me! But I will try to redeem myself from that and give you a glimpse why I think that Jinkx Monsoon is one of my favorites! Get your swim vests out: Its Monsoon season!

First and foremost you should all bow down to Miss Monsoon since she is Drag Race Royalty! Yes, lil Jinkx (As Roxxxy Andrews has once put it.), has won the fifth season of RuPauls Drag Race and has beaten many fierce competitors, such as Detox Icunt and Alaska Thunderfuck. And that must have been hard work! Anyways: If she is not in drag Jinkx goes by the name of Jerick Hoffer. And damn i got to say that I love both of them. Jinkx is classically trained and has finished college with a summa cum laude in theater. Wow that is pretty impressive!

Jinkx is really into her craft and a trained, talented and skilled actress! Several times she has proven to be a skilled entertainer and also a funny and witty comedy queen, who in my eye represents glamour in a way I have never seen it before done by a drag queen. She represents the style of the 50's and 60's with a little mash up of the 20's. And I think that role befits her very well. 

What is interesting to know about Jinkx is that she has narcolepsy. So there comes her nickname: the silent sleeper from Seattle. And she aligns herself as Seattle's youngest MILF. Besides kicking ass in the Snatch Game, her funny mantra "Water off a ducks back." and her great humor ("It's gonna be hard to top Coco. But look at her, who would want to top that?") she has won the fifth season of RuPauls Drag Race and snatched the crown. 

After her heroic triumph she has started a web series called "Drag Becomes Him" where the life of Jinkx in and out of Drag is shown. And I gotta tell you that this series has some thing that makes it so great! Can I give it an Emmy? If you haven't seen it check it out below! 

So you see there are tons of reasons to love Miss Jinkx. And since she has gotten the stamp of approval by Joan Rivers, we can be sure she is drag and comedy gold! A true diva!

"Born naked, the rest is Drag!" - RuPaul GIF Extravaganza!

Oh my! I have to say whoever made that: I have to so thank you for that! This is "dragnificient"! I love me some RuPaul GIF's but this one stole the show from all! I mean seriously: She looks amazing, and the opera glass is just OMFG! So good luck, and don't fuck it up!

Born naked, the rest is drag! - Willam Belli

Hey you out there! This segment is, like you can read, called: "Born naked, the rest is drag!". Each time present to you one drag queen I'm really into and I will try to give you a short glimpse at why I like this queen in particular.

I have dragged about this lil fierce honey before, when I wrote about her hilarious song parodies. But I'm not gonna start with that since it is the most obvious. Willam Belli is an LA based Drag Queen that has done lots of television work, in drag and out of drag. Included are CSI, Nip Tuck and Glee. He has been featured on RuPauls Drag Race Season 4 where he made a really good figure, but (sadly) was excluded from the competition since he broke the rules. (He was visited by his husband)  But as Willam said during the Reunited show: "No RuPaulogies". Thing is that she would probably have taken home the crown. What makes Willam special is not only that he has the sickening body of death and is fishy as fuck, but that he is actually pretty much talented and very creative. He has proven that his acting is A-list, and that her singing skills are chart worthy and her make-up always is professional. (Except for that five o'clock shadow sometimes!) And FYI: She is a very good reader! (Because reading is essential! And by that my dear, not informed, readers: I do not mean reading a book!) And oh my dear! She is very sharp tongued! On Drag Race she has proven that her crafting is good and that she is a true diva. His character is very self confident and sometimes a bit arrogant, which does not mean that she is not a sweetheart and giving (sometimes).

I am a huge fan of Willam, but I do really understand if people dislike her since she is no innocent lamb, and can be pretty cruel. Also her sometimes arrogant attitude make her extremely, well lets say, not that lovable! But if you have the chance: Go check her out, and maybe you will hear her performing her big hits: "Chow Down (At Chick - fil - A)" and "Boy is a Bottom"! (And there were the song parodies!)
