True Blood "Death Is Not The End" Review

Damn! I sure had a “fangover” form last sundays episode of “True Blood”. And it is not solely reasoned in the good parts of the episodes. But lets just focus and get this “Death Is Not The End” episode its deserved review.

The episode starts off with a scene of Sookie calling her death lovers father, and he seems to be quite shocked that his Alcide is dead. Yet, he ensures Sookie that he loved her to bits and pieces. And Sookie stays strong. No crying, nothing. She seems emotionally dead. After what she has been going trough, no surprise. Biggest Moment of the episode however is Jason calling Hoyt in Alaska to tell him that his mom got killed by a vampire. Such sweet memories, however good to know that the makers of True Blood made the effort to put this thing into the script.

After the opening sequence we see Eric and am on a private jet and when Eric decides they have to go to Shrieveport we get tons of great and nicely 80’s style flashbacks of how Eric and Pam got to have “Fangtasia”. I love me some flashbacks like that!

And then Sokkie gets all boring. She talks to Colby and her brother, and Jason goes and tells Kevins wife he is dead. Wasted minutes! Meanwhile Sookie helps Holly remember where she was caught, and Jason has to force Sam to stop to get t Fangtasia without vampires. Oh and Jessica has an eating disorder.. which gets solved by Sookie the very moment it comes up. Well, interesting concept, however soved to soon. The guilt trip has not really worked out. And Sookie tells Jessica, while feeding her, that she is dead already and yet again needs them all to save her friends.

Then we finally get to the real thing again: flashbacks of Eric and Pam! Wellbetter said how Ginger applied at their video store and was totally in love with Eric from the first sight. We also get to see that “Fangtasia” was only Gingers idea, and Pam glamoured the shit out of her to take the ide as hers. Loving it! Cause living for it!

Then there is the big reunion between Pam, Eric and Sookie with Pam still hating Sookie, and Willa being called by Eric and she is pissed. Very pissed! Yet in the end they all go and rescue the peeps from Fangtasia and kill all the Hep-V’s. However Arlene nearly dies, Pam uses a fire extinguisher to save the bar, and the mob idiots get killed in the attack as well. Lots of blood, gore and guts. Loving it. And yet we see that Eric has become slow and a bit weak.

The episode in summary was a lot like: OH my god that is great and Mah! A solid 7,5 out of 10 with a big concern for the end of the season as more episodes remain and there seems to be no main plot in sight. Ye the show could return to its core with focusing on the relationship between people. However Gingers explanation of vampire movies as a possibility to examine the other in human society give a nice hint at the academic possibilities of the series.

"I Found You" - Review of True Blood's Season 7 Episode 2

Damn! Last nights episode of True Blood certainly has boiled the tempers of some viewers. And not only in a good way. Anyways, here is Icon Art Marilyn’s review of “I Found You”. If you haven't read last episodes review, do so here.

For starters, I don’t get people being angry at True Blood and its storyline. For me the show actually did not jump the cliff, just rather has fallen into its phase of maturing and finally in its saturation phase. All this talking about the show has lost its edge and really gone to big of a scale and too damn easy to look through is really just mourning for more Bill and “Soookie!”. And frankly spoken, I do rather prefer a stir the pot, kill characters off, apocalyptic study in what vamps on a rant would be then having character focused drama infused with a side note of vampirism. Sure the show has some flaws but believe me, it still is better then that “The Wire”. (Yes, I don’t like heat many people call HBO’s best show ever!)

But: back to the review. The episode was pretty intense as it opens with Jason having a sex dream about him and Eric. And boy that got pretty physical! You pretty much could hear the gay gasp around the world and the fapping is next to come. And by the way: shout out to these two straight gentlemen who played this scene so well. And not backed out like a bitch. I’m looking at you, former actor of Jessica’s boyfriend! Anyway, Jason wakes up after that church meeting, and then he Sookie, Alcide (Who, thank god, has more sentences then “I’m the pack master!”), Andy, Jason and Sam seek out that dead girl from last episode, check her ID and head to her town. And boy that town has been eated dra by these vamps.

Sideburn: That damn diary. I mean nice play on showing that Sookies love story is not the reason this all happened, but too cheesy! However, it shows the hopelessness of the situation these people are and were in.

Meanwhile in Fangtasia: One of the hep-V vamps turns out to be the former teacher of Arlene’s and Holly’s kids, the convince her to help them, however she dies of Hep-V the moment the rescue begins. (Bummer!) On another note the Bon temps folks slowly go mad and steal the weapons from the police station cause Sams former mayoral election competitor agitates them. Adelaine gets locked up, Jessica feels it and exposes herself to Andy to save her. (I think we are setting up a healing process here.)

Bummer here: That goddamn victim racism allegation on Andy by a black woman to agitate Kenya. Damn gurrl that is weak and a low shot. Your self esteem went right out of the window, didn’t it?

Yet on another note Tara can be seen by Letti Mae when she is high on V, and Tara is caught in a Jesus meets Adam and Eve thing story. Lemme see how that plays out!

Biggest bummer and best thing ever (kinda): Pam finds Eric in France (THANK GOD FOR PAM!), however he is infected with Hep-V. WHAT the hell? Hep-V and Eric? NO! Yet, totally understandable cause this Eric comes back and saves the day thing, no that would not have worked once more. Yet I am extremely pissed that Pam has not even shad one tear on Tara meeting the true death. Damn. Yet I am hooked as ever before. Come on next week! I wanna see my True Blood!

"Jesus Gonna Be Here" - True Blood Season 7 - Review

Okay, give me a minute to start this review of season sevens first episode “Jesus Gonna Be Here”, because even after watching it like three times it still is kind of… well different. And I am not sure in what way different.

The episode starts off with a recap of season six and the after HBO’s logo black and whites in goes straight to Sookie in the middle of the Hep-V vamps attacking the mixer at Bellefleurs. And boy, these vampires are the shit! They hungry for blood, as they are gonna die anyway. And for real, who can blame them? They basically got screwed over by the government, so why not go savage? However Holly, Arlene and Sam’s girlfriend get kidnapped amongst others while Olivia give some hot staking action saving Jason. Yet the scene has a major bummer as True Blood makes decided to let Tara be killed in the fight for her mothers safety. What a damn bummer! Seriously? We have been waiting to see more of her. That is kind of sad to kill her off after just about 15 seconds on screen time of the season.

Anyways, as the vampires retreat after a whistle (Why did they retreat?) everyone thinks one thing while hiding in Bellefleur’s Bar and Grill: Its all Sookies fault. She is a vampire whore who, would she have kept her legs shut, would have not caused all this. And Sookie, the fae she is, hears these thoughts. Even Alcide thinks its kinda crazy that Sookie likes vamps. All I can say to that: Ya’ll in Bon temps overreact. As if it was her fault alone! (I’m looking at you Bill, Governor Bourell, Sarah Newlin, Vampire Authority, Lillith etc.)

As the people of Bon Temps start to get home protected by their assigned Vamps, Jessica protects Andy’s remaining fae daughter Adaline from a Hep-V vamp all night long, Adaline drinks her blood and invites Jessica in. Possible friendship ahead? Yes. Meanwhile Sam is exposed as a changer to his former opponent in the mayoral election, Bill and Andy search trough an old Slaughterhouse to see if the Hep-V’s are nesting there. In a confrontation with Sam’s former opponent in the election Andy saves Bills life, however reminding him he only did so cause they need him, and he really has done unspeakable to him and his daughters. Good for you Bill, and Andy, well at least you did the right thing. Bon Temps Sheriff seems to have been elected right.

Meanwhile Jason and Olivia check out another possible nesting place, and once again are confronted with Sam’s former opponent. Tides get wobbly, Olivia gets cocky as fuck and Jason annoyed by her taking control all the time. On the way back home they fight, and Jason finally is allowed to fuck her. And his rant was apparently all she has been waiting for. Could this be a relationship that works out for once? I mean True Blood is not famous for happily ever after!

Lafayette is brought home by Jessica’s vampire boyfriend James, they talk, smoke and the talks get quite intellectual. You know, about war, violence, peace, pity, loss and the feeling of it. Oh, there is mourning for Tara (?). Our beloved first bitch in charge , Pam, is seen in Morocco playing Russian roulette to get info about Eric’s where about. She looks broken and her monologue reveals her emotional crisis. I mean how else would one describe sentences as “You and my god can get together and have a circle jerk in a motel. Meanwhile ill be in hell having a threeway with the devil!” Seems like the woman has lost it all, as I don’t even see perfect eyeliner. I mean she even wore flawless make up in vamp camp last season. But thank god her swearing has not run down. (Lovely, aint she?) On another note: Tara’s mom goes nuts on vamp blood given to her by Willa to heal, as she sees Tara. Poor Letti-Mae (?). Willa now protects letti-Mae and the reverend, who offers her a place to stay, as she has no one left and does not feel she is up to go back to Fangtasia. (You know, with Taras stuff there and all!) She should have on the other hand, as that is where the Hep-V’s hold their abductees and nest. By the way: they kill them by their ability to scream. (And hello: that really s scary and savagely bestial if you give it a thought!).

The episode ends by the morning after in church where Sookie can hear everyone’s thoughts that basically say: Get out of here you whore!” She then gives a “ I love you all, even though you hate me, I love Bon Temps etc talk”. Oh, by the way, she and Alcide made up. Good for her.

All in all: the episode was what was to be expected: unexpected. It felt a little long and dragged out, just like season six first episode, with good and bad pieces. However we might not fear, at least I think so, as last season got better as well. However the major disappointment of no Eric and Tara no more lays pretty crude. But thinking about all of it: Willa is the one that totally get screwed over: She really has no one left. For next week: Lets hope True Blood comes back from the dead and not finalize jumping the shark. On a scale of one to ten, well let’s give this episode a six and a half and since its True Blood and I am an optimist, make it seven.

True To The End - True Blood Time Tomorrow!

Trubies out there unite and get you fangs on! After what seemed an eternity of wait, tomorrow it finally is time to sit in front of your TV or Laptop and crave for blood, sex, lust and Bill saying "Soooookie"! Come on season seven let's get sucking!

And yes, its totally normal that we all might be wondering about three things: (1) Where the heck is Eric, (2) will Violet ever let Jason hit it and (3) what will we see Pam wearing? (Okay, maybe number two and three just happen to have me asking.) However, as a show the size and magnitude of True Blood we may very well expect the thing to go out with a bang, and no this was not a reference to the countless sex scenes. (However, according to Sam McNeil there will not be a shortage of male or female nudity in this season!)  And Certainly there will be drama between Sookie and Eric and Bill and Alcide, who, lets be hones, hopefully will have more lines then "I'm the pack master!".

Well lets all just hope that the season con jour up a worthy end to our Bon Temps favorites. Cause otherwise fans will go nuts on twitter, and hunt I gotta keep my timeline clean!

Trailer for True Blood Season 7 - #WaitingSucks

It is though that the last season of True Blood, season seven, will grace our screens this year, more specifically starting June 22nd. And with one sad eye and with smiling one I am looking foreword to this, hopefully bombastic, end of such a great series.

As HBO has released the first trailer for the season they gave audiences a little taste of what is to come, and it seems that it will pick up right where it has left off with Radioactive. televised insanity. And that is  what I expected. With the on rampage, Hep-V infected, vampires go mad at the town meeting at Merlotte's, or should I rather say Bellefleur's, this season supposedly starts with a big fight. the trailer shows us all sorts of vamps showing fangs, moving fast and attacking hardcore style.

The general storyline seems to be that the Hep-V vamps are out for any human alive to drink. And it does not seem that the Bon Temps forks have any intention of taking it, and fighting back. No, apparently they leave and blame Sookie for what happened. Did Pam prove right about Sookie and her precious fairy vagina?  And after all, will we see Bill and her reunite, or will she stay with Alcide, who hopefully gets more lines then "I am the pack master!" tho season. Or will, please let it be like that, she reunite with yummy Eric Northman. What about Pam and Tara, and how about Olivia and Jason? Even more pressuring: Which one of our characters will die? (Please make it Bill!) And even more important: Will the series close all its questions or will it yet be another insufficient ending like so many other series had?

Besides all that the trailer sees a Tara with her mom, Jessica swearing to protect Andy's remaining fairy daughter and there appears to be no sight of Eric. And that definitely raises the expectations as no one wants their favorite sexy vamp to have taken his last bite.

In conclusion we might be very much looking forward to this, however, I hope that the series keeps in  touch with the ideas it has touched upon the first seasons. May the gender bending and LGBT allegories continue. And may the series please continue to show that vampires are more hum alike then they want to think and vice versa for humans. Lets all take a deep bite and enjoy! taste you later Truebies!

"I watch it, so should you!" - True Blood season finale and the thing with Sookie's precious fairy vagina

It already is over: True Blood Season 6. It came fast and it left as fast as it came. So let me recap the tenth and final episode "radioactive" for you and tell you why we should be excited for season seven. And you wont be disappointed from the tenth episode either because the promotion has been true: we see more of Eric then ever. Literally!

Episode 10 of this season starts off with Sookie starring at Terry's grave being filled and Sookie and Alcide have a talk about her funeral talk about being a fae. And already we can tell that, as Pam put it, "Sookies precious fairy vagina" is certainly no turn down for Alcide. Then they see the vampires coming back from camp and celebrating their newly gained freedom. Sookie goes there and meets Jason and is more than happy to. When Jasons vamp girlfriend Violet starts romping about who Sookie is Jason clears up the situation, teling that they are siblings. Violet then kisses Sookie on the mouth just saying: "If you are his sister, you'r mine too!". Jason comments: "She's European." best fucking sentence ever to be said in such surrounding! Then the true WTF moment happens: Pam runs up to Sookie and HUGS her! I mean when have we ever seen Pam hug someone else than Eric or Tara? I mean it is Pam. Also Tara hugs her and says that since Bill has saved them she won't be able to hate on him ever again.

Sookie then returns to Warlow who already has built their wedding flower-pole-thing-maypole. And Sookie tells him that she wants to keep her promises but she wants him to spend time with him first, instead of beeing turned instantly. And Warlow makes a 180 degrees character turn, an tells Sookie to basically fuck off ad that she is his. Well: REALLY? I started to like this fucker and he goes the other way round. Oh and by the way: he strangles her. Back at Bills the vamps play volleyball. And my face was just like: WTF! Volleyball, are you serious guys? But then Tara goes to see Pam and Pam tells her that she leaves to search for Eric, and even though Tara is pissed at her Pam does have a hard time to leave her. She looks at her and asks her to take care of Willa.

Inside his house Bill learns that he has lost his divine powers, although he still can walk the light. He realizes that he is Bill and not Lillith anymore and that he basically just sold Sookie off. Jessica tells him that he still can save her, she really saves his last part humanity. Im so glad that Jessica exists! They tell Jason and he and Violet go to the Bellfleur house to ask the remaining fae to come with them and use her light to get to the fae realm. They succeed even though its hard, but the fae girl wants to help. Meanwhile Bill releases Dr. Takahashi, glamours him and leaves him lots of money!

In the fae realm Warlow has bound Sookie to the pole, and she try to kill him with her vamp killing ball, but he stops her, also bounds her hands to the pole. He tells her, he just wants to fuck, own and use her for her blood. He also calls her a danger whore. Wow. if that is not a bad romance! Meanwhile our Sookie save group enters the realm. Bill, Violet, Jason, Andy and the fae girl enter the realm and free Sookie. They save Sookie and as they escape Bill stays in the realm and fights Warlow. They both leave later through Warlows light. When Warlow tries to get Sookie in her house he fights down Jason, Andy and Violet (Who by the way is 800 years old.) But when he nearly has her in the bathroom Niall comes out of the portal and holds him. Then Jasosn stacks Warlow, and Niall comes back to the normal world. As Warlow is dead all Vamps that have drunken Bill's blood feel that they have lost the ability to walk in the sun. Poor Eric is sitting naked in the swedish mountains sunning in the snow and reading the book when he starts to burn off. BUT: We don not see him splash, so he probably is not dead. But what we see is his dick, and I am sure Alexander Skarsgards dick is or on every gay porn site possible. And I can not say it is not withut reason.

SIX MONTHS LATER....

Sookie watches Bill in a TV interview talking about the story of season 6 as the author of a book about it.  What i hate about it: Sookie is together with Alcide. Her precious fairy vagina! Dammit! Then we see Jason giving head to Violet, as he says he has done so each day since the camp thing, but he still is not allowed to fuck her. Well too bad for you Jason! In a church scene we see both churches of Bon Temps, black and white, together where Sam, the new mayor announces that this evening the "Bellfleur's Bar and Grill" , now owned by Arlene, ffers free food and drink, to find a hep-v free vamp there they can feed and he protects them from the wild attacking hep-v vampires. Some people leave church...

At the party all get together and Taras mom talks to her and wants her daughter to feed of her. And after some hard thinking she does. I just think that bitch is infected and wants to kill her daughter! Do not trust that church cunt! And also it seems that Willa is fine and she would not be that fine if Eric was dead and Tara would not be fine if Pam was dead. Meanwhile jessica goes to the Bellfleur home and offers them their protection but without wanting to feed on them. She tries to redeem herself. As Sookie and Alcide want to go home, Bill offeres them his protection and right as Alcide and Bill start to get bitchy Alcide and Bill smell something: A group of gone wild hep-v vampires starts to come to the party. And they get more and more. Well, I guess that is our cliffhanger for season seven. And damn that is a cliffhanger. Now we can start to tweet #WaitingSucks once more. See you next year Bon Temps.

What I liked was that Pam goes after Eric and that Violet situation for Jason. What I hated: Sookie and Alcide together. What I was shocked by: Warlows 180 turn and Bill relizing his feelings for Sookie. Did I love the finale? Yeas! But it was very unexpected an twisted. And I would have loved to see that Bill - Lillith - Warlow thing played off better. I mean we are talking vampire gods here! But I was kind of ... well not turned down by Eric and his "I Love my Schlong thing". And I cant wait to see what happens to Pam, because for me it is the worst waiting to see what happens to her. Well I guess I just have to wait. ......FUCK! I HATE WAITING! Hurry up HBO! ;)

"I watch it, so should you!" - True Blood "Dead Meat"

I know I have fangirled more over this True Blood season than a 14 year old about this closeted lesbian named Justin Bieber. Yeah. So that much for those of you who cant take it anymore, but I am going to write about the eighth episode of the sixth season called "Dead Meat".

And thereby I 'd like to give out some awards to the characters, since I feel that this season has put my head near to an explosion, in a positive way. Well lets start with what went down in this episode. Well the most surprising thing is that Alcide and Sam have not bored me to death but also have really worked it out to get me interested once more into their story lines! And even better, with Sam having knocked up Nicole like 12 days after they met, the story gets more confusing! So the Icon Art award for "Finally getting interesting" goes to them.

Okay and the real deal this episode for me was Sarah Newlin! And I'm not saying she could also be called Sarah Palin, but she could. Bitch is crazy! When she had that fight with the CEO of TruBlood, Mrs. Suzuki, my facial expression was between WTF and I Love it! And only Sarah Newlin can pull it off to thank Jesus after killing Mrs. Suzuki with a fabulous high heel shoe. Well bitch is crazy! And you know what? She so earned the Icon Art award for "Motherfucking Crazy Ass Bitch!". And alongside that the award for "I Hate That Bitch" goes to the vampire who has claimed Jason hers. I kinda wanna know how old she is, because with Pam in gen-pop things could turn. And how she got in there? Well she fucked the psychologist and says the sex was "oozy, but productive". Well the award for "Whore of the Century" goes to Pamela "Fuckalot/Fuckenstein" Swynford de Beaufort. and you know Pam is m favorite character. But seriously, Pam is about 180 years old, and very talented as a vampire. (Remember, she can already fly at such young vampire age?) How old can that other bitch be, that Pam can't fuck her up?

When it comes to Eric and dealing with his anger over the death of Nora I kinda feel his outbreak at the beginning of the episode could have been bigger. I mean I love it, but somehow I expected him to totally loose it and really attacking Bill. But somehow he just looses it mentally, and after Bill levitating him, and Eric making fun of him in a brilliant way, he leaves Bill's mansion. Okay Eric you definitely earned the Icon Art award for "Extremely Complex Character" when Bill needs to receive the award for "Turning One-Dimensional". But Eric feeding on the remaining daughter of Terry to get into the fairy realm was pretty bad ass. But I kinda did not get why he attacked Warlow. #SorryBoutIt

What I was most surprised of was Sookie. When she went to Sam to, I don't know, ad telling him about winding up together, I was really like WTF! But when she stand in front of her parents graves and tells them she'd rather walk the earth as s corpse, then laying besides them for eternity. Wow, finally Sookie makes some good decisions. If Warlow, or any other of these Vampires, wanted to turn me.. well here is my wrist. take a bite and dig me in bitches! Also her wearing that black dress, that hair and that attitude: WOW! This time Sookie gets the Icon Award for "Finally getting things in order!". So in the end we are left hanging, I mean the makers of True Blood really know how to pull a good cliffhanger, with Sookie bringing Bill to the fairy realm discovering Warlow has been attacked by Eric. And shit seems too be going down since he looks kind of dead. Well, the whole episode gave us much, but basically it is just a huge cliffhanger since they bring the story further but leave us standing in the rain. It will be hard to wait seven fucking days

"I watch it, so should you!" - True Blood is making me loose my cool, well what has been left of it!

Those suckers know how to make an impression on me With that trailer that HBO released of what is to come in the remaining 5 True Blood episodes they have ensured me that they can take it up a notch each and every season!

And don't tell me it gets to outta there because this is a fucking vampire series, i mean what you expect? Stories about some goddamn boring everyday bogus? I don't think so! From what I can see the Vamps will fight back big times and it will get to a personal level for every character of ours! I think everyone of them will finally decide whether he truly wants to put #SaveTheVamps in their status or not. Pam gets out her fangs and starts to fight bad ass style as Eric. Tara will protect Jason, Jess is horrified and Eric pissed big times. And to all that Billith might rethink that Lillith thing, while Warlow and Sookie make some connection and she eventually thinks about being turned vamp! (Which I would totally love!) And last but not least. i still don't have a single fuck to give about that goddamn werewolf and shifter story line which got boring and boring with every time Alcide screaming "I am the pack master!" (And you must have lost you goddamn mind and brain while becoming it, since you act as stupid as Sarah Palin and Mitt Romney combined!) So I hope that the seventh season will be huge boom, like this one! And I could not really figure out who will be killed. Since they normally do not burry Vamps I think it  is going to be a human. I think it might either be Jason, Sam or Lafayette. So get into this shit, you wont regret it!

"Just in!" - HBO decides: True Blood will...

... go on! The official True Blood account on Facebook posted the following picture and announced that True Blood will be renewed for a seventh season!

Picture belongs to HBO.

So lets call it True Blood Day on Icon Art Marilyn! We are so excited!

"I watch it, so should you!" - True Blood Season 6 - What we know so far, halfway through the season!

So with yesterdays air of the fifth episode of True Blood's sixth season "Fuck the Pain Away" the season is halfway through. But what to make of season six, and all its superlatives, boredom and craziness so far?

Well concerning that it had fabulous five previous seasons the expectations were as high as Eric Northman can fly, especially since the Vampire authority was in ruins, 2000 year old ancient vampire Salome was staked, Russel - 3000 years old bastard - Edgington staked as well, Bill returning as Billith and Warlow on his way. What to make out of True Blood in season 6. Episode one interestingly entitled "Who Are You, Really?" did not really get fans what they wanted to. Hell to the yes it was exciting to see how everything goes, but clearly the episode was overly explaining for what has happened. There was some fire missing! Absolute Highlight of the episode turned out to be Pam, who tole the show with her one liners! Who could ever forget that hilarious scene with Pam and Tara at the beach, after they have escaped the vampire authority? And that great fight she and Nora had in the car:

Oh and we found out that Bill, Billith, Lillit or whatever the fuck you would call him can not be staked, or at least he doesn't die from it. Also in the episode: Sooki getting her house back from Eric, resending her invitation, Jessica sticking to Bill and Jason telling everything to a stranger in a car. Besides that Andy taking care of his fae children, and the Alcide and Sam story lines start to bore the shit put of me!

Episode two "The Sun" proved that there is a way to better the season, since it was not that fucking boring. If I think about it again: I have already reviewed this episode, so go and read all about it here.

Finally the series regained its charm with the release of episode three "You're No Good". Eric kidnaps Willa Burrel (It was about time he fought back, I  mean he is the oldest known vampire alive after Warlow!) Sookie's fae grandfather reminds her that she is fae royalty, Pam and Tara are not amused when Eric brings Willa to Fangtasia. They learn about the camp and leave Fangtasia for ever (?). Lafayette sticks to Sam, whose storyline is till find irritatingly annoying! Same counts for Alcide! While fea gramps discovees the fae strip club has been drunken empty by Warlow, Billth tries to withstand the sun and starts to burn! (Stupid you, you still are a vampire, and they have always been creatures of the night!) Meanwhile Eric and his posse  of Pam, Tara and Willa visit good old, she shcreams the shit out of ever season,

"I watch it, so should you!" - Reasons to love #TrueBlood

Okay this one is just a short, and quick reminder why to love HBO's True Blood! And also even one more reason to love Eric's progeny Pamela Swynford de Beaufort.

Whoever made this GIF I owe you big times! =)

"Music Minute" - Music from Fangtasia

Hey there! In this episode of "Music Minute" I wont be talking about some artist in general but about all the music I liked that has been played in the vampire bar "Fangtasia" from HBO's hit series "True Blood". Since "Fangstasia" is owned by my two favorite characters Pam and Eric it, of course, has some bad ass  music, basically the best music from all the series.

So to not let you starve on what is playing in "Fangtasia" here are my 11 favorite songs I have heard over the last 5 seasons.

01. Beneath Contempt by Flesh Field

02. Deeper Into You by Johnny Hazzard

03. Die Slow by HEALTH

"I watch it, so should you!" - Review of True Blood's episode "The Sun"

Picture from watchwithkristin
on Flickr, under creative commons license.

I freely admit that I have an addiction problem when it comes to True Blood. I had like a little pee coming down my leg from the sheer excitement of a new episode. Bad thing is that, since I live in Germany I have to wait till like 5.A.M. on Monday morning until the new episode of True Blood is downloadable from the I-Tunes Store. But anyway: Here is the promised review of the sixth seasons second episode "The Sun"!

!Spoiler Alert! Episode 1 left us off with a bit of a mixture of a shitty and excited feeling. The whole episode was some sort of  a huge over explanation of what happened with Bill and Lillith and everything. but whatever! Episode 2 in my eyes has fully redeemed  episode 1.  So here is my short, not o short, summary of the story.

"I watch it, so should you!" - TV Series i am addicted to!

Hey pop culture fans out there! Even though I do not really watch TV anymore since I don't have a TV at home, and I do not miss it, I watch tons of this stuff on YouTube since some users make all the work and upload stuff. My DVD collection is not that small either! So this is the first episode of the new series: "TV Series I am addicted to!"

Picture belongs to HBO
At first I would of course write about two of my all time favorite reality TV shows "Kathy Griffin - My life on the D-List" and "Joan and Melissa - Joan knows best!". But I have already written abut theses two series, so no need for double trouble on Icon Art Marilyn!

So witch what I am gonna start instead might be, okay crap aside, this is no big surprise for each and every one of you that I will write about "True Blood" which has been starting now newly for a sixth season. And I mean as soon as I have seen that the sixth season pass is now available online I bought that shit! So in celebration of the new sixth season I chose True Blood to be first on the list!

The series is generally a drama series, and believe me: there is tons of Drama going on! And they have added this supernatural thing to it. Generally this means two years before the series started scientists from Japan have discovered a way to create synthetic blood. As part of this the side effect is that the Vampires now come out of their coffins, since they do not longer rely on human blood. Okay and that is just season one. Over the following 5 seasons they add fairies, wear wolves, wear panther, shape shifters, minades, magicians and other crazy shit! And what comes out is the story of Bon Temps waitress Sookie Stackhouse who gets into all the madness by falling in love with vampire Bill Compton. To recap all of the story would be a huge article! So you just have to watch! But all I can give away is:

In season one it is all about Bill and Sookie getting together, small fight about her with Fangtasia (A Vampire nightclub) owner Eric northman and his progeny Pamela Swynford. Also Bill has to create a progeny as a penalty for killing another vampire to save Sookie. Season 2 is all about the crazy minade Mary Ann which terrorizes Bon Temps and the search for Eric Northmans makes Godric. Season 3 is about the fight of the community against crazy vampire king Russel Edgington. Season 4 is fighting a witch named marnie that wants to destroy all vampires, and season 5 is all about the vampire authority. Okay this is so short cut that you have to read the short synopsis on Wikipedia.
