Act of Courage - NBA player Jason Collins comes out as gay

Yay! Finally the macho-imaged and tough taken world of sports gets an update to 2013!

I think some of you out there have read the news that NBA player Jason Collins came out publicly anouncig that he was "I'm a 34-year-old NBA center. I'm black. And I'm gay." So we have the situation that an NBA professional who has been in the finale twice has openly come out against the very aggressive, and very often homophobe, world of sports. I absolutely support him since he could be a spokesperson for a more accepting view in sports. He has proven that his homosexuality has nothing on his skills as s player. So have at it and keep the haters down! And honestly: it was about time something like that happened! I mean please: Its 2013 and not 1396! But sadly it seems that some people still have not gotten it that they and their, especially religious, believes are not to make laws. And also who cares for their bullshit!? Anyone who has only one functioning brain cell, and can read a constitution, will say: Hey everyone is equal! And so is Jason Collins! But if you need a prove that there already have been negative reactions just have a look on the web. But to close it all up: There have also been tons, and i literally mean tons, of love and support!

An I personally, as someone who does not care for sports as entertainment, but a supporter of any LGBT IQA cause anywhere on this planet,stand besides him, like many others do. And they do by speaking up, writing about him and support tweet/text/whatever!
