Icons are everywhere!

An icon is someone who makes an effort. Art makes an effort. Therefore art is an icon. Marilyn Monroe was and is an icon and a work of art as well. Hence Marilyn Monroe and art have a nature in common. Icon - Art - Marilyn is iconic.

"I watch it, so should you!" - True Blood Season 6 - What we know so far, halfway through the season!

So with yesterdays air of the fifth episode of True Blood's sixth season "Fuck the Pain Away" the season is halfway through. But what to make of season six, and all its superlatives, boredom and craziness so far?

Well concerning that it had fabulous five previous seasons the expectations were as high as Eric Northman can fly, especially since the Vampire authority was in ruins, 2000 year old ancient vampire Salome was staked, Russel - 3000 years old bastard - Edgington staked as well, Bill returning as Billith and Warlow on his way. What to make out of True Blood in season 6. Episode one interestingly entitled "Who Are You, Really?" did not really get fans what they wanted to. Hell to the yes it was exciting to see how everything goes, but clearly the episode was overly explaining for what has happened. There was some fire missing! Absolute Highlight of the episode turned out to be Pam, who tole the show with her one liners! Who could ever forget that hilarious scene with Pam and Tara at the beach, after they have escaped the vampire authority? And that great fight she and Nora had in the car:

Oh and we found out that Bill, Billith, Lillit or whatever the fuck you would call him can not be staked, or at least he doesn't die from it. Also in the episode: Sooki getting her house back from Eric, resending her invitation, Jessica sticking to Bill and Jason telling everything to a stranger in a car. Besides that Andy taking care of his fae children, and the Alcide and Sam story lines start to bore the shit put of me!

Episode two "The Sun" proved that there is a way to better the season, since it was not that fucking boring. If I think about it again: I have already reviewed this episode, so go and read all about it here.

Finally the series regained its charm with the release of episode three "You're No Good". Eric kidnaps Willa Burrel (It was about time he fought back, I  mean he is the oldest known vampire alive after Warlow!) Sookie's fae grandfather reminds her that she is fae royalty, Pam and Tara are not amused when Eric brings Willa to Fangtasia. They learn about the camp and leave Fangtasia for ever (?). Lafayette sticks to Sam, whose storyline is till find irritatingly annoying! Same counts for Alcide! While fea gramps discovees the fae strip club has been drunken empty by Warlow, Billth tries to withstand the sun and starts to burn! (Stupid you, you still are a vampire, and they have always been creatures of the night!) Meanwhile Eric and his posse  of Pam, Tara and Willa visit good old, she shcreams the shit out of ever season,
Ginger and tay there for the night. Eric discovers Willa likes vamps. Warlow aka. ben joins the fight with Nial and Sookie and Jason to fight Warlow. Surprise! Steve Newlin gets to the vamp camp and sees his former wife Sarah Newlin, who has gone into politics. (And still does not now how to do good drag queen hair!) Meanwhile jessica captures a japanese professor, on Bills wish, to make him synthesize fae blood. In the end Eric and his "family" run from governor Burell. Best about this episode: Ginger screaming the fuck out of it! Check the video for her screaming! (Which is always funny as fuck!)

Last weeks episode "At Last", which was number four of that season, did not disappoint either! They finally increase the tempo of the season! Ben heals Jason with his vamp blood, and make sthe first real WTF moment of this season. Niall hunts down Nora, and she tells him bout Warlow and Lillith. She is captured by the police. Poor Nora! Andy's four fae girls grow to be teens, sneak out and party. Jessica and Bill get them to come with them and lull them into giving them some of their blood. Second big WTF moment is when Willa comes back to Eric and is turned by him. Hell yeah! Best scene of this episode! Sam and Alcide still bore the shit out of me! Sookie and Nial hunt down Ben/Warlow but he glamours Jason and sucks nearly all the blood out of Niall, but does not drink it. He spits it out. Willa returns home, and Sarah Newlin shoots her.  Warlow puts Niall into the doomed dimension he was trapped in 20 years, but giving him some vampire blood so he can heal.  Pam is caught by the police and brought to camp, Jessica in a total rush eats all of Andy's fae girls and Sookie making out with Ben/Warlow. She holds a vampire killing ball above him telling him to get the fuck off her - or die.

Picture is a screenshot, belongs to HBO.
And that leaves us directly to this weeks episode "Fuck The Pain Away". Sookie gets told that Ben only killed her parents since they tried to kill her. When she hurts him a bit, Bill notices it and gets all the memories of Lillith back. He remembers that Walrow is his progeny. Bill is Lillith's reincarnation. Jessica is terribly sorry for killing the 4 fae girls, and Bill comes and commands Warlow as his maker to come with him. Warlow needs to obey. Andy finds one of his girls alive, and Sarah is pissed governor Burrel won't fuck her right now to get a baby! Ben remembers how he was turned by Lillith 5500 years ago, when he lived in a village of fae. Sarah goes to Jason and makes him fuck her with some stupid ass religion shit. I don't like that woman! Alcide still has a shitty story line. Jessica goes to Jason, and thinks Bill is the devil, which i think is true. Jessica and Sarah get  into a fight and Jessica is caught and put to camp. Pam and Tara go to the police to be brought into the camp to save Pam. Eric does love his vamp family! In the camp vamps are divided into 4 categories, Pam and Eric are level one, Jessica and Tara level 3.  Level 1 vamps are psychologically tested, level 2 we don't get any info, level 3 are copulation tested and level 4 vamps, well we think the are tortured. In therapy Pam acts as if she does not have any feelings toward her maker. Sookie asks Lafayette to help her with the truth, and Lafayette can confirm that Sookies parents wanted to kill her, when Warlow asked them to give her Sookie, because he wanted to turn and protect her. pretty shitty parents. Her father takes over Lafayette, and tries to drown Sookie. in another flashback we see Warlow killing his family in blood thirst as a vampire, letting Niall alive , and exposing Lillith to the sun, killing her. Warlow hates Lillith for turning him into a vampire. he wishes extinction to vampires. Good to know that he is able to walk in the sun and that he is 5500 years old. I kinda like him very much. At camp they make Eric and Pam fight in a cage. We see that Pam does care for Eric and other way round.  I cant wait to see how this goes. Like I suggested, either Pam or Eric will die. Well still I hope they both survive. And Eric is pissed when he finds out Burrel put his own daughter into camp. He is very pissed, and wants to kill someone. That makes it so interesting when he face Pam. This intel was provided by Steve Newlin. (Never liked that bastard!)

So, what you think will happen next?  For me this has really become unpredictable, but I have the certain urge to analyze the camp thing as nazi thing. Ad the promo for the et episode make me want to see this shit even more. Pam seems pissed Eric made another progeny, but he finds Steve Newlin, so I guess he will survive and may have killed Pam. I hope he did not! Also we see Jason enrolling in the anti vampire army to spy on them and sabotage them. Bill discovers Jessica is gone, blames Lillith for all that gone wrong and she says it is all his fault. #EXCITED
